Director, Directorate of Medical Education, in their letter dated 28-09-2016 issued the seat matrix for 70 medical seats. Out of which one new medical college i.e., Sambhram Institute of Medical Sciences, KGF – 60 seats and 10 seats – All India guota and requested KEA to conduct online seat allotment for the Medical seats.

Further, they have also submitted the NOTE to KEA to publish on the KEA Website kea.kar.nic.in which is reproduced below for the information of the candidates and parents.

NOTE:
All the students seeking admissions in Sambhram Institute of Medical Sciences, KGF should refer the public notice letter of oversight committee in the website for information.

Since approval for sambhram Institute of Medical Sciences, KGF is subject to compliance of conditions imposed by oversight committee the students admitted to Sambhram Institute of Medical Sciences, KGF shall not claim any equity if the approval to the Sambhram Institute of Medical Sciences, KGF is stayed / cancelled / disputed.

The students shall file an affidavit undertaking that students should not claim an equity if any disputes arise out of approval / admissions.

Hence the option entry will be enabled from 9.00 p.m. on 28-09-2016 and the interested eligible candidates can exercise their priority of options for Medical and Dental seats up to 6.00 p.m. on 29-09-2016.

Along with this 70 Medical seats, Medical and Dental which are canceled / newly added / identified as not reported if any, will also be offered in this round to the eligible candidates as per the following schedule.

College wise, Category Wise and Course wise detailed Seat Matrix is hosted on the KEA Website kea.kar.nic.in along with the fee structure. (Engineering, Architecture, Pharma, Farm Science, Veterinary and AYUSH seats will not be offered in this round)

NOTE:
** The candidates who have selected seat, not selected any seat, selected and reported to the college, candidates (except medical seat cancelled candidates) are eligible to participate in this round.

** In this round candidates have to enter their priorit:y of options afresh. (Fresh Option Entry)

** Candidates are advised to enter the options they want to select whether the seats shown in the seat matrix or not, only for the reason that Medical / Dental consequential vacancies may arise during allotment process and the candidates will have a chance of get:ting a better seat if they have entered the options.

** Candidates who have selected seat and reported to the colleges are also eligible to participate in this round.

** Candidates who are already admitted to colleges are advised to attend this round only if they are interested and after confirming of getting the original documents within the stipulated time from the present college.

The seat selected by the candidates in any discipline will get cancelled automatically upon selection of a seat in this round and for any reason they will not get back the old seat but to compulsorily join the allotted colleges.
