MBA Admission :

Admission to MBA and MBA IB programs is made through CAT of Indian Institute of Management.

Candidates interested to apply for MBA and MBA IB programs of the Institute for session 2017-18 are required to appear in CAT 2016. Candidates are also required to apply separately for Institute of Management Studies, BHU.

Last date for receipt of applications completed in all respects in the Office of the Director is 10 January 2017

Our Institute uses CAT Score for short-listing/selecting the candidates for our MBA and MBA IB programs. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.

Eligibility for MBA & MBA-IB Program:
Admission to the MBA & MBA-IB Programs shall be made through CAT. Eligibility criteria defined under CAT shall be deemed as applicable provided candidates belong to categories other than SC / ST has secured a minimum 50% marks at the qualifying examination. For SC/ST candidates, at least 45% marks are required.

(a) A graduate degree under 10+2+3 Pattern,
OR
(b) A degree in Agriculture, Technology, Medicine, Education or Law,
OR
(c) A Post-graduate degree in any discipline.

FILLING OF ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM & RELATED INSTRUCTIONS:
i). Candidates are required to download Information Bulletin and Admission Application Form from the website of the Institute (bhu.ac.in/fms) and submit duly filled in and signed application form along with all necessary enclosures.

ii) Application Fee: Application fee is Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 800/- for SC/ST) to be payable through Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, Banaras Hindu university, payable at Varanasi.

iii) Important Dates: Last date for receipt of application completed in all respect with necessary enclosures (pl. see point 7 below) and required amount of application fee in the office of the Director, Institute of Management Studies at the address given below is : 10 January 2017.

INCOMPLETE FORM, APPLICATION NOT BEARING THE SIGNATURE OF THE APPLICANT AT ALL ON THE SPECIFIED PLACES AND APPLICATION FORMS RECEIVED AFTER THE LAST DATE SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

THE UNIVERSITY TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DELAY OR LOSS OF APPLICATION FORM OR CORRESPONDENCE IN POSTAL TRANSIT /COURIER.

v) Please ensure that a passport size photograph signed by you is pasted on the space provided for in the application form.

vi) No Application Form shall be considered for admission unless it is complete in all respects including self attested copy of the photograph of the candidate containing his/her signature thereon and other copies of documents specified are attached thereto as per point no. 7 below.

vii) Candidates are advised to keep sufficient number of extra copies of the same photograph, which has been pasted on application form for future use, as and when needed.

viii) The Category to which an applicant belongs once mentioned on the Application Form will be final and no subsequent change will be allowed. If boxes requiring indication of category on the application form are left blank, the candidate will be treated under “General Category’.

ix) Application Forms of candidates who have submitted forged/fake certificates/documents or adopted fraudulent means shall be rejected without any intimation to the candidates. Further, such candidates shall be debarred from appearing in any subsequent entrance test conducted by B.H.U.

x) Any related legal litigation in respect of the admission shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the local court of Varanasi and/or Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad only.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS to be enclosed with duly signed application form Candidate must send the following documents with his/her application:
i) Duly completed and signed application form.
ii) A xerox copy of the admit card issued by IIMs for appearing in CAT 2016.
iii) Demand Draft of Rs.1500/- (Rs. 800/- for SC / ST category candidates) in favour of the Registrar, BHU payable at Varanasi.
iv) Self attested copies of Marksheets of Class X, Class XII and qualifying examination (Semester wise) (excluding final year, if the candidate is appearing in the qualifying examination).
v) Appearing Certificate from the Head of the Institution in case, the candidate is appearing in the qualifying examination.
vi) Self attested copy of Caste Certificate (in case of SC, ST, NC OBC).
vii) Self attested copy of disability certificate (in case of Differentially abled candidates)
