Ph.D Admission :
Applications are invited for Full Time Ph.D. Programme in the following departments of the Institute. Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing & GIS, Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Material & Metallurgical Engineering (Material Science & Metallurgical Engineering), Chemical Engineering, Biological Science and Engineering, Architecture & Planning, Energy Center, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Application (MCA), Physics, Nano Science and Engineering Center, Chemistry, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, Management Studies and Humanities and Social Science.

Eligibility :
Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks (CGPA 6.5) and from a recognized University for Ph.D., in Management studies the candidate must have MBA degree or 2 years PGDM from MHRD/AICTE/UGC recognized Institute, Reservations are as per prevailing GOI norms.
Candidate should have VALID GATE or NET qualification. For reserved category students i.e. SC/ST/PwD a relaxation of 5% (0.5 in CGPA) shall be given.
Selection :
Selection will be based on Entrance test conducted at Institute level. Short listed meritorious candidates will be eligible for Interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the same. Preference will be given to meritorious candidates with research aptitude.
Admission under Sponsored Full Time category is only for the candidates from Government organizations, Public Sector & Research Institute, as per Ph.D. Ordinance Clause 10.1.
Teaching Assistantship: Selected candidate may be considered for teaching assistantship as Ph.D. ordinance and Institute norms.
Application Form:
The application form can be downloaded from the Institute website manit.ac.in. Duly filled and completed in all respect application form in the prescribed format along with necessary supporting documents will only be considered.
Submission :
Completed forms with the (SBI Collect receipt) non refundable processing fee of Rs. 1500/- should be submitted to Assistant Registrar (Academic), MANIT Bhopal – 462003 upto 30th June, 2017. The payment of processing fee is to be done only through SBI online “SBI Collect” into Director, MANIT Bhopal, account.
The Envelope must contain the following header, “Application form for Ph.D. Admission in …………………………… Department” Applicant must submit separate applications if he/she wish to apply for different Departments. Applications received after due date will not be entertained.
No individual information for the test/interview will be sent. The schedule of the Test/Interview will be displayed on the Institute website. Candidates are advised to visit the Institute website regularly for further updates.
