B.Tech [M.E] Admission Procedure :
Entry Standards Educational Criteria :
1. A pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent from any Govt. recognised Board ( passed in first attempt )

2. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM).
3. Minimum 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
4. For admission in B.Tech (Marine Engineering) degree course , it is mandatory to pass with good rank in the Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University, which is known as IMU CET.

Age : Below 25 years. Medical Examination : Must be found medically fit by

Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved Doctors identified by the Institute.
Eye Sight :
1. Shall be neither “colour blind” nor “night blind”.
2. Power for each eye is permitted upto ± 2 for B.S.(ME) Students.

INSTRUCTION FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION :
1. Candidate should submit Application & Annexure form only online.

2. Application processing fee of Rs.1000/- is to be remitted in any one of the following:

Send through any bank by NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer). The following details are to be furnished to the bank for sending the fees through NEFT mode.

After making payment through NEFT mode, the banker will give you a Message User Reference called MUR Number. This MUR Number must be furnished by the candidate in the online application form.

** The same is to be sent to the following address along with a print out of the form submitted online.

ONLINE PSYCHOMETRIC TEST :
How to appear for RLSAT 2016 – Online Psychometric Test?
1. After submission of application form online, the candidate will be enabled to appear for Psychometric Test online by the institute. To appear for Psychometric Test online, candidate has to login his application number as “username” and date of birth as “password”.

2. Choose any reliable browsing center or your own computer with internet connectivity to appear for the online test [RLSAT] at any time convenient to you. Use only INTERNET EXPLORER
Ensure that the computer you choose has the following configuration.
Intel Pentium or Celeron or AMD Processor having 1GHZ speed or more.
256 MB RAM
Color Moniter
UPS 0.5KVA for a single system
Software requirement:
OS: Windows XP sp2 or later
Internet explorer v 6.0 version or later (Java script and cookies enabled)

3. Each Candidate is given three chances. If he is not successful in the first attempt, he can appear for the RLSAT 2016 two more times without paying any additional processing fee.

4. If he has exhausted all the chances, he can make three more attempts by resubmitting his application again, by paying a fresh processing fee of Rs.1000/-.

5. For resubmitting your application, please go to your login page and furnish details of your second processing fee payment. (Fresh NEFT Transfer or Fresh DEMAND DRAFT)

6. The Candidate will then be considered as a fresh candidate.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM & ANNEXURE :
** An Annexure to the application is to be filled and submitted online by the candidate.
** The candidate must take a print out of the application form alongwith the Annexure from their login mode.

** Sign and send the same to the Institute directly along with copies of the required documents. (if the application processing fees of Rs.1000/- is in the form of DD, then enclose the same alongwith the print out of the application form)

** If the candidate is awaiting the results, Annexure can be submitted after the publication of results of degree examination and award of marks.

1. Secondary /10th Std. (SSLC) Mark Statement
2. Senior Secondary /10 +2 Mark Statement
3. Birth Certificate issued by any Government authorities
4. Conduct certificate
5. Transfer Certificate
6. Community Certificate
