General Instructions :
Candidates applying for admission to the 4 years Bachelor of Technology Program of the School of Engineering & Technology, CMR University (CMRU) are required to register online for the CMR University Admissions Test (CMRUAT) as part of the application process.

Eligibility :
For writing CMRUAT :
Candidate should have passed 10+2/PUC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology /Biology / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PH) in the above subjects or should have appeared in the above examination.

For admission to B.Tech program:
Candidate should have passed 10+2/PUC or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidate belonging to OBC/SC/ST/PH) in the above subjects.

How to Apply :
Candidates will be required first to register online for writing CMRUAT 2016

A valid e-mail and mobile number is mandatory for the registration. CMRU will send important information with regard to your application and test on this registered e-mail and mobile number. This e-mail and mobile number should be kept active till the end of admission process.

After receiving Login ID and Password, candidates will not be able to edit the information provided at the time of registration. Candidates are hence requested to fill in the registration form with utmost care.

After registration, candidates will be required to fill up the online application form for writing the CMRUAT 2016 and submit the same.

Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs. 750/- (Rupees seven hundred and fifty only) for writing the test. The payment can be made online (Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking) or offline.

Those candidates who are applying for offline payment will have to send a Demand Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of CMR University payable at Bangalore along with the application form downloaded after registration.

Candidates making the payment online should note these important Terms & Conditions.

Before proceeding to fill up the Online Application, candidates should have scanned image (jpg) of their (a) Passport size photograph (size not more than 80 KB) (b) Signature (size not more than 80 KB) and (c) Demand Draft (in case of offline payment of the application fee) for Rs. 750/- in a CD/DVD/pen drive as per their convenience. These documents will be required for uploading the online application for CMRUAT 2016.

Candidates may opt for any one of the four dates mentioned under the test date section for appearing in the entrance test.
However, a candidate has to opt for,
23.04.2016 on or before 03.04.2016
24.04.2016 on or before 03.04.2016
22.05.2016 on or before 01.05.2016
19.06.2016 on or before 29.05.2016

A candidate opting for offline payment, shall send the printout of the application form duly signed along with the DD for Rs.750/- as above through speed post /courier to the following address so as to reach,
by 07-04-2016 for test dates 23.04.2016 & 24.04.2016,
by 05-05-2016 for test date 22.05.2016 and
by 02.06.2016 for test date 19.06.2016
