Applications are invited from candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course for admission through single window system to BSMS / BAMS / BNYS / BUMS / BHMS courses 2016-17 session in Government and Self Financing Medical Colleges (Government quota) in Tamil Nadu.

Application Form and Prospectus can be had directly from the Principals of any of the below mentioned Government ISM Colleges on all working days from 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM between 28.06.2016 and 28.07.2016, both days inclusive
a. The Principal, Govt. Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District
b. The Principal, Govt.Siddha Medical College, Chennai 106
c. The Principal, Govt. Unani Medical College, Chennai 106
d. The Principal, Govt. Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College, Chennai 106
e. The Principal, Govt. Homoeopathy Medical College, Thirumangalam, Madurai District
f. The Principal, Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Kottar, Nagercoil, Kanya Kumari District.
Note: Application forms and prospectus will not be issued at the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy and office of the Selection Committee, Arumbakkam, Chennai 106.
Requests received after the stipulated time on the last date, though they were posted or couriered on an earlier date, will not be entertained and DD will also not be returned.
Cost of Application:
1. Common Application Form for BSMS/BAMS/BNYS/BUMS/BHMS Course : Rs.500/-
2. Application form for Special Category : Rs.100/-
Candidates belonging to the Tamil Nadu SC/SC(A)/ST communities are exempted from paying the cost of application fee. Candidates who wish to obtain application under this category, shall have to produce / submit self-attested Xerox copy of his/her Community Certificate and +2 mark sheet along with the written requisition.
Requests received after the stipulated time on the last date, though they were posted or couriered on an earlier date, will not be entertained.
Candidates eligible to apply the above said Special Categories should submit the ‘Special Category application’ along with common application form and duly enclosing a Demand Draft for Rs.100/- ( Rupees one hundred only) drawn in favour of “DIRECTOR OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY, CHENNAI-106” PAYABLE AT CHENNAI from any one of the nationalized banks obtained on or after 28-06-2016.
In case candidates who are eligible in more than one special category listed above shall have to submit the Special Category Application for each special category along with a demand draft for Rs. 100/- as stated above. One can apply to the maximum of three special categories at a time.
If the applicant is the first graduate of the family then he/she should submit necessary filled in certificates as instructed in the prospectus and also no other siblings in the family should have availed this concession.
The Last date for the issue of application: 28-07-2016 up to 05.00 p.m.

Candidates who applied for Indian medicine and homeopathy courses will be usually called for counseling by late October. It will be the same in this year also. The general merit list and counseling schedule will be announced in tnhealth.org website.
