APMEDCO MCET-AC

An online (web based) Common Entrance Test, designated as MCET-AC-2015 will be held by the Andhra Pradesh Private Medical & Dental Colleges Managements Association, Vijayawada for entry into B category (MCET-AC ranking based Management Quota) seats of MBBS & BDS courses for the academic year 2015-16.

Eligible candidates who wish to apply for MCET-AC-2015 may submit their applications through online mode only. The detailed information regarding eligibility, age, syllabi, related instructions are available in the website

REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION INTO B-CATEGORY (MCET- AC ranking based management seats) SEATS IN MBBS & BDS COURSES FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2015-16.
1. The following are the Regulations for admission of students into B category MBBS and BDS Courses in Private Medical and Dental Colleges in Andhra Pradesh for the year 2015-16.

2. The candidates shall appear and qualify in the MCET-AC 2015 exam.

3. The Rank in MCET- AC 2015 shall be the basis for the selection into MBBS and BDS Courses subject to these regulations.

4. THE LIST OF MEDICAL & DENTAL COLLEGES:
The List of the Medical and Dental colleges as in web site of apmedco.com

The admissions into the colleges are subject to the permission by the Government of India / Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India and affiliation to the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2015-16.

5. ELIGIBILITY:
(i) Educational Qualifications: As per medical council of India /Dental council of india / Dr NTR University of Health Sciences.

(ii) Candidates should have qualified at MCET-AC-2015 and shall secure not less than 50% of marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology) / Bio-technology are eligible for admission into MBBS and BDS courses and they fulfill other relevant conditions laid down in these regulations as per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India guide lines

NOTE :
(i) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside the AP State should submit a Eligibility / Equivalence certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh.

(ii) Candidates possessing qualification of the University / Board of an institution outside INDIA should submit a Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi and Eligibility / Equivalence certificate issued from the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad to the effect that the qualification possessed is equivalent to or higher than Intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Andhra Pradesh.

(iii) Age: Minimum age: Should have completed the age of 17 years by 31st December, 2015.

NOTE:
1. A person born on 1st January of a year will complete one year on 31st December of the same year.
2. Age shall be calculated on the basis of date of birth as indicated in the Secondary School Certificate examination or equivalent examination.
3. No request for relaxation of age of a candidate shall be entertained.
4. Candidates born on or after 02.01.1999 are not eligible for admission in to MBBS and BDS courses.

Online application form:

** The online application form is available at apmedco.com.
** The candidates shall fill the on line application form.
** The Registration fee for the MCET-AC is Rs.1,800/- (Rupees Eighteen Hundred only).
** The fee can be paid by credit card or debit card or by net banking.
** The candidates are advised to take a printout of the filled in application form after completion of the application form and to note down the application number.

i. Computer Based (Online) MCET-AC will be conducted for admission into the MBBS and BDS Courses as per G.O.Ms.No.33 HM & FW Dept. Dated 17-04-2015 of Govt. of AP.
ii. The Computer Based (Online) MCET-AC will be conducted on 24-05-2015 from 2.30 P.M to 5.30 P.M at the centres notified. (Reporting time at Test Center allotted is at 1.30 P.M sharp and candidates will not be allowed into the test centre after 1.45 PM The Examination process will be commenced by 2.00 PM sharp)
iii. The duration of Examination is 3 hrs (180 minutes).

iv. Pattern of Question Paper and Evaluation:
a. Question paper is of MCQ pattern. Candidate has to choose single most appropriate answer from four options provided.
b. The question Paper will be in English and Telugu
c. Each correct response shall be awarded one mark.
d. There is no negative mark for incorrect response.
e. No mark will be given for the question not answered.
f. Minimum marks required to qualify in the entrance test shall be 50%.

(v) The Computer Based (Online) MCET- AC consists of 160 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ?s).
The duration of the Test is 3 hours.
The standard of the examination will be that of 10+2, Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

The approximate distribution of the questions will be as follows:

(vi) As per Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India regulations, the candidates shall secure minimum of 50% marks in the Computer Based (Online) Entrance Test to become eligible for admission into MBBS/BDS courses.

The details of test centre such as name and venue of the test centre will be given in the Hall Ticket.
** The Computer based (Online) Entrance Test shall be conducted at the centers notified.
** The Test center shall be allotted as per the candidate’s option and as per the availability.
** The Hall Ticket will contain the Name of the allotted Test center.
** The convenor reserves the right to allot a candidate to any one of the Test centers.
** The candidate shall give 3 options for allotment of test places in the order of priority.
** The Test Center shall be allotted depending upon the availability of accommodation in the particular Test Center.
