On the basis of information given in the JET Application Form, Admit Card of provisionally eligible candidates will be available on applyadmission.net/jet2018 from 08 February 2018 (1400 hours) onwards. Admit card will not be sent by post. Candidates are advised to regularly check JET 2018 Website for updates.

Procedure

Enter any TWO of the following fields
i) Enter Online Application No.
ii) Enter Date of Birth
iii) Enter Email-ID
iv) Click on “Submit” Button

Scheme of Written Examination

The examination will be of 3 hours duration.
** Examination of all film wing courses, i.e. Paper Nos. 1 to 9, will be conducted in the morning session (3 hours, 100 marks).
** Similarly examination for all the TV wing courses i.e. Paper Nos. 10 to 15 will be conducted in the afternoon session (3 hours, 100 marks).
** Each Question Paper will consist of maximum 100 marks, which will be further sub-divided in to 50 marks for MCQs and 50 for descriptive answers.
** The answers for Multiple Choice Questions will have to be marked on OMR sheets provided to the candidate.
NOTE: A candidate is allowed to apply for only one course in the Film Wing group and only one course from the TV wing group.

Details of Examination:
Film Wing Courses :
The test papers will carry maximum of 100 Marks, which will be divided into two sections of 50 Marks each.
Section A Marks
General Aptitude Test (MCQ): 50 Marks
1. General Awareness (National / International) 15 Marks
2. General Mental Ability (Mathematical / Abstract Reasoning) 15 Marks
3. Indian History, Culture, Art, Architecture, Music, Folk-art, Cinema, Television etc 20 Marks
Total 50 Marks

Section B Marks
Specific Area Aptitude Test (Descriptive): 50 Marks
1. This section is designed to test the ability and aptitude of a candidate in the specific field of cinematic expression. A total of eight questions will be given. Out of these, a candidate is required to attempt any five. Each question carries Ten Marks. 5 x 10 = 50 Marks

Television Wing Courses :
The test papers will carry maximum of 100 Marks, which will be divided in to two sections of 50 Marks each.

Section A Marks
Common Aptitude Test (MCQ) : 50 Marks
1. General Awareness (National/International) 15 Marks
2. General Mental Ability (Mathematical / Abstract Reasoning) 15 Marks
3. Indian and International Television, Mass Media, Indian History, Culture, Music, Folk-art etc 20 Marks
Total 50 Marks

Section B Marks
Specific Area Aptitude Test (Descriptive): 50 Marks
1. This section is designed to test the ability and aptitutde of a candidate in the chosen audiovisual field. A total of eight questions will be given. Out of these, a candidate is required to attempt any five. Each question carries Ten Marks.
