You have to fill in your Class XII marks and other information in the application form to be published from June 2, 2015 with your same credentials.

PLEASE NOTE: This registration is only for Veterinary Entrance Test 2015. You have to fill in the main form from June 2, 2015 onwards.

During the process of registration the candidate must have the following ,
1) Keep Scanned Passport size photograph, (3cm X 4cm) in jpeg format ready for uploading

2) Keep the Scanned Signature(3cm X 1cm) in jpeg format ready for uploading

3)Please give only one(1) valid mobile number. All information will be sent through SMS to this mobile number. Do not append Zero(0) or +91 with your mobile number.

Last date of online submission of application: 30th May,2015
Admit cards will be issued and downloaded from : 2nd June,2015
Date for VET (2015) Examination is on : 7th June,2015
Result of VET (2015) will be declared on : 20th June,2015

VET (2015) examination will be of 2(two)hours duration, and will consists of 150 multiple choice questions carring 1(one) mark each.

Subjectwise allotment of Marks are as follows
Physics: 45 (marks)
Chemistry: 45 (marks)
Biology (Botany): 30 (marks)
Biology (Zoology):30 (marks)
Total: 150 (marks)

Negative marking at the rate of 0.25. i.e. 1(one) mark for 4 (four) incorrect answers, will be deducted from total marks
Merit list will be finalised on 20th June,2015

About us :
Assam Agricultural University is the first institution of its kind in the whole of North-Eastern Region of India. The main goal of this institution is to produce globally competitive human resources in farm sector and to carry out research in both conventional and frontier areas for production optimization as well as to disseminate the generated technologies as public good for benefiting the food growers/ producers and traders involved in the sector while emphasizing on sustainability, equity and overall food security at household level.
