The Convener (SKURESCET-2015), Directorate of Admissions, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu invites online applications through the website skudoa.in for admission into M.Phil/Ph.D. Courses in various Departments/Subjects of Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Ananthapuramu for the academic year 2015–16.

The admissions are governed by the SKURESCET-2015 Rules and Regulations. The Advisory Committee of SKURESCET-2015 reserves the right to change or modify the Rules and Regulations.

A candidate is eligible for SKURESCET-2015, if she/he has a minimum of 55% marks in the P.G. Degree (Relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates).

For getting admission, a candidate should qualify SKURESCET-2015 and satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed for M.Phil/Ph.D. Courses.

No candidate is entitled to pursue more than one course or employment or to undertake any other assignment. The University reserves the right to prosecute such candidates who do not adhere to this norm.

Qualifying in SKURESCET-2015 does not guarantee admission. The candidate must satisfy all the eligibility criteria prescribed for admission into M.Phil/Ph.D. Courses.

If it is proved that any of the certificates submitted by a candidate is tampered or fake, the candidate not only looses seat but is also liable for prosecution.

The rule of reservation is applicable only for seats under SKURESCET – 2015 Category. The rule of reservation is not applicable for seats to be filled under
(i) Employees of S. K. University,
(ii) UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET/GATE/APSET qualified,
(iii) M.Phill completed on regular basis from Sri Krishnadevaraya University and
(iv) M.Tech/M.E./M.Pharm/M.D. qualified Categories.

Notwithstanding anything in this Booklet, the rules and regulations that are in force in the University from time to time are applicable.

Before applying for SKURESCET – 2015, the candidate has to verify himself/ herself about the eligibility to write a particular Test and seek admission into the related M.Phil/Ph.D. Courses.

The University reserves the right to announce the seats available for M.Phil/Ph.D. Courses in different departments/subjects at the time of admission and the same will be made available in the website.

The starting date for online application for SKURESCET – 2015 is 25-05-2015.
The Cost of Application is Rs. 1000 and the late fee is Rs. 500.
The last date for online application without late fee is 30-06-2015.
The last date for online application with late fee is 15-07-2015

ELIGIBILITY FOR WRITING SKURESCET :
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. Relaxation of 5% in marks is provided for SC/ST/Differently-abled candidates for admission into M.Phil/Ph.D courses under SKURESCET-2015.

Candidates who have already passed the qualifying examination or who have appeared for the final semester of the qualifying examination in 2015 are eligible to apply. Eligibility criteria fixed for each course detail is given in Section 4.

HOW TO APPLY :

i. Candidate has to submit Application online through the website skudoa.in by clicking on the button SKURESCET
ii. The cost of each application is Rs.1000 and it should be paid through Debit Card/ Credit Card/Internet Banking in online.
iii. Prospectus can be obtained from website
iv. Candidate has to submit separate application for M.Phil and Ph.D. Courses.
v. Candidate is advised to take a printout of the application submitted to university.
vi. The process of online application for SKURESCET 2015 starts from 25-05-2015.
vii. The last date for online application without late fee is on or before 5 pm on 30-06-2015.
viii. The last date for online application with late fee of Rs.500/- to 5 PM on 15-07-2015

Note:
1. In the case of Polymer Science, a Common Entrance Test will be conducted in the given syllabus of Polymer Science but they have to work under the supervision of Research Supervisors available in Chemistry and Physics Departments.

2. In the case of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, a Common Entrance Test will be conducted in the given syllabus. The M.Phil./Ph.D. degree will be awarded in Mathematics only.

3. In the case of Biotechnology, the Entrance test will be conducted in the M.Sc. Biotechnology syllabus, excluding special subjects, if any. Candidates with Biotechnology are eligible for the Entrance Test.

4. In the case of Economics and Applied Economics, a Common Entrance Test will be conducted in the given syllabus. The M.Phil. /Ph.D. degree will be awarded in Economics only.

5. In the case of Political Science and Public Administration, a Common Entrance Test will be conducted in the given syllabus. The M.Phil./Ph.D. degree will be awarded in Political Science only.

6. In the case of Social Work, a Common Entrance Test will be conducted in the given syllabus of Social Work but they have to work under the supervision of Research Supervisors available in Rural Development and Sociology Departments.

7. Ranks will be allotted to candidates who qualify themselves in the Entrance Test. The ranks allotted are final and claims for re-totalling, revaluation, etc., will not be entertained.
