NCERT CEE
NCERT Common Entrance Examination (CEE-2024) is conducted by National Council of Educational Research and Training. You can apply to appear in the Common Entrance Examination (CEE)- 2024 for admission to the following programmes offered by the Regional Institutes of Education located at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysuru, and Shillong;
** B.Sc.B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated)
** B.A.B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated)
** M.Sc.Ed. (Six Year Integrated)
** B.Ed. M.Ed (Three Year Integrated)
** B.Ed. (Two Year)
** M.Ed. (Two Year)
Eligibility of NCERT CEE
B.Sc.B.Ed. :
** Candidates seeking admission to Physical Science Group must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) (M stands for Mathematics or Statistics) and those seeking admission to Biological Science Group (CBZ) must have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) (B stands for Biology or Biotechnology) at +2 level.
** Candidates must have passed +2 / Hr. Sec./ Sr. Sec. or any equivalent examination recognized by University/ Board with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). The qualifying examination should be recognized by the affiliating universities of the RIEs.
** Candidates who have passed +2/Hr. Sec./Sr. Sec. or any equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 and appearing/ appeared in 2024 only will be considered.
B.A.B.Ed. :
** Candidates must have passed +2/ Hr. Secondary/ Sr. Secondary or equivalent examination in Science and Commerce streams or in Arts streams with at least 50% marks in aggregate (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) in 2022, 2023 and appearing/ appeared in 2024 only will be considered.
M.Sc.Ed. :
** Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc. Ed. (Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics) must have passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) (M stands for Mathematics or Statistics) at +2 level.
** Candidates must have passed +2 / Hr. Sec./ Sr. Sec. or any equivalent examination recognized by University/ Board with at least 50% marks in aggregate of qualifying examination (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). The qualifying examination should be recognized by the affiliating university of RIE, Mysuru (University of Mysore).
** Candidates who have passed +2 / Hr. Sec./ Sr. Sec. or any equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 and appearing/ appeared in 2024 only will be considered.
B.Ed.-M.Ed. :
A post-graduate degree in science/ social science/humanities/commerce from a recognized institutes/universities with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade ((relaxation by 5% for SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates).
B.Ed. :
** Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s degree in Science/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology (with Science or Mathematics) or in Bachelor’s Degree and /or in the Master’s Degree in Social Science/Humanities are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). The candidates should upload only the marks secured in degree examination as qualifying marks.
** Candidates with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree in Science/ BE/B.Tech. (science/ mathematics) are eligible for B.Ed. (science and math group) and Candidates with Bachelor’s degree in social science/ humanities or Master degree in social science/humanities are eligible for B.Ed. (Social Science and Language group), respectively.
M.Ed. :
Candidates seeking admission to the M.Ed. Programme should have obtained at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade (relaxation by 5% for SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates) in the following programmes / courses from any University / College / Institute recognized by affiliating universities:
** B.Ed.
** B.A.B.Ed./B.A.Ed./, B.Sc.B.Ed. /B.Sc. Ed.
** B.El.Ed.
** D.El.Ed. with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science (With 50% marks in each)
How to Apply for NCERT CEE?
Dear applicant, you are welcome to the National Council of Educational Research and Training(NCERT) Common Entrance Examination (CEE)-2024 online application form submission portal.
You can apply to appear in the CEE-2024 for admission to the following courses offered by the Regional Institutes of Education located at Ajmer, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mysuru, and Shillong.
** B.Sc.B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated)
** B.Ed M.Ed (Three Year Integrated)
** B.A.B.Ed. (Four Year Integrated)

Steps to be followed :
1. Go to CEE webportal(https://cee.ncert.gov.in)
2. Click on LOGIN
3. Click “New User” link, if you are registering 1st Time. (If you are a registered user, i.e: you have Registered previously enter registration no and password )
4. Fill up all the fields (As applicable) then click on “Register now” Button
(password should be more than 6 characters & less than 12 English characters. Password should contain at least one upper case English alphabet, one lower case English alphabet, one English number. Special character “ @, #, $” may also be used.)
5. Now go to the “Login Page” to proceed further
6. On the login page, provide your Registration number password and captcha. Then Click on “Login” button
7. Click on Apply Now
8. Scroll down and read the complete instructions carefully , you need to tick the undertaking accepting the terms and conditions Then click on Apply.
9. Fill up the fields Select Domicile State , Any Evidence and other personal details. Scroll down and fill all the details.
10. You need to tick the undertaking accepting the terms and conditions Then click on Save & Next.
11. Now you have to upload the document required.

12. . Now you have to make the Examination Fee payment

Syllabus for CEE
1. Language Proficiency indicating specific areas like comprehension, rearranging sentences, selecting suitable words for the blanks, finding out errors in parts of the sentences, finding out equivalent meaning to the given phrases, finding out suitable words for the incomplete sentences, sequencing, grammar which includes synonyms, antonyms, idioms, prepositions, tenses, articles.
2. Teaching Aptitude will cover specific areas like attitude towards education, children, and teaching profession; interest in teaching; leadership qualities & group management; emotional & social adjustment; intrapersonal & interpersonal skills; digital initiatives and pedagogy, NEP 2020, and school education, NCF-SE-2023 and general awareness of contemporary issues pertaining to school education.
3. Reasoning Ability indicating specific areas like verbal & non-verbal reasoning, missing numbers, number series, letter series, theme finding, jumbling, analogy, odd one out, arranging the statements in a sequential form, statement and conclusions, syllogism, logical problems, establishing relationships.

The result of B.Sc.B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed./M.Sc.Ed. programmes will be declared on 05/07/2024.
The result of B.Ed./M.Ed. programme will be declared on 10/07/2024.
