  • Can anybody help me, in preparation of ACET. Since there is no study material available on website after registration, I need FAC and STAT pack, at the earliest since exam is at hand.

    • From the Website :

Can an examinee take more than one attempt at this exam?
Yes, students who have been unsuccessful (for whatever reasons) can reappear.

    • It isn't everyday that people reply to help others but when I saw your comment, I saw that I could help you with that. So simply type "iai" on google and the first link would be of 'Institue of Actuaries of India'. After that click on the tab 'ACET' (Notes: there would be other subheadings under ACET (DO NOT CLICK ANY OF THEM). After you click ACET, go through all the links from the top till the bottom and you will find it. Or let me make it easier for you to reach to the link. Open actuariesindia.org/(X(1)S(yeehal55uigd2s55falkol55))/subMenu.aspx?id=4&val=ACET and search for the syllabus which would be written like 'ACET Syllabus - FAC and Stats pack'. And there you go.

    • No Nitika. Don't apply. Because its full of maths. Heights of integration and differentiation will be there. First learn the actuary things then apply. It will be good for you then.

  • I am just passed my 12th exe by cbse board with out taking math
So can I apply for acet?

  • My age is 17 years old and I have to appear ACET exam
So what should I do? Please give me answer

  • How to register for entrance exam? What are dates for registration and when will be the exams held ?

    • How to register for entrance examination? What are the next exam date for registration? What is the age limit for registration?

    • How long does it take to become an Actuary? Does one need to complete the exams within a certain time frame?
There is no fixed duration to complete the course and you can take the examinations at a pace that suits your circumstances. Since all the 15 subjects prescribed are to be cleared before one is awarded the Fellowship, continued and sustained effort is necessary to complete the course. Additionally you need a minimum of three years’ relevant work experience for qualification as a Fellow. Keeping the above factors in mind, the typical time-frame for qualification in recent years has been 5-8 years.
