Spot Admission against vacant seats in BBA and BCA Programmes 2015 :

and B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia at BIT Jaipur and BIT Noida Centres
Few seats in General, SC and ST categories are vacant in BBA and BCA programmes 2015 at BIT Allahabad, BIT Jaipur, BIT Kolkata and BIT Noida Centres and B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia programme 2015 at BIT Jaipur and BIT Noida Centres.

Candidates should please see below for details of the eligibility criteria, detailed list of certificates/ documents to carry at the time of reporting for Spot Admission and Counselling, and fees payable at time of admission.
(A) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1) Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1 October 1990 are eligible for admission. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates who were born on or after 1 October 1985 are eligible for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board (Class X, High School) certificate only will be taken as authentic
The percentage of marks in Class X and Class XII / equivalent qualifying examination shall be considered on the basis of the Board’s calculation of percentage for the award of Division / Degree / Certificate.
NB: Caste certificates must be in proper format and signed by appropriate authority of rank not below the SDO.
(B) HOW TO APPLY :
Interested candidates must report in person and submit the Application Form by 12:00Noon on the day of counselling at Campus of their choice with:
a) Duly completed application form for Spot admission (The link for downloading application form is given below)
b) Originals and a set of photocopies of all documents listed below
c) Crossed Demand Draft for Rs 2,500/- (General) and Rs. 1,500/- (SC/ST) candidates in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at Ranchi.
Note:
Those candidates who had applied earlier and made the payment online through SB Collect need not to pay the application fee again, but will be required to fill new application form (link given below). They must also bring the proof of application fee.
(C) Selection Procedure:
For BBA and BCA programmes: The provisional selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination, and as per reservation policy of the Institute. The provisionally selected candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria given above, else the offers will be withdrawn.
For B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia programme: The provisional selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent qualifying examination and performance in the Aptitude Test and interview, and as per reservation policy of the Institute. The provisionally selected candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria given above, else the offers will be withdrawn.
The provisional selection list will be notified by 3:00 pm on the day of counselling and provisionally selected candidates will be required to deposit the fees and complete the admission formalities by 5:00 pm on the day of counselling. It is therefore recommended that candidates should carry the requisite fees to be deposited at the time of admission,
(D) FEES PAYABLE:
Institute Fees: Rs.65,000/- for admission to BBA and BCA programme, Rs. 79,000/- for admission to B.Sc. Animation & Multimedia programme for the first semester, in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology”, payable at the city which you are reporting for the spot admission.
(E) List of original certificates & documents required during counselling :
Candidates must carry the originals of the following documents at the time of reporting for spot admission, as well as one set of photocopies
** Pass certificate of Class X (for age proof)
** Marksheet of Class X
** Marksheet of Class XII / Intermediate or equivalent
** Caste certificate / special category certificate (if applicable)
** School / College Leaving Certificate
** Migration Certificate
** One passport size photograph, identical to the photograph affixed in the application form
Photo identification: (Driving license, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, School / College ID are acceptable)
Documents required at the time of admission:
If found eligible for admission, candidates will be required to submit all the above documents in original (except the Photo ID) at the time of admission, along with the requisite fees.
Candidates are advised to come prepared to attend classes after completing the admission formalities. Classes have already started.
