BEd Entrance Test :

Registration to appear the entrance test :
Candidates have to register at braouonline.in and pay the fee of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) by Debit/Credit card through university portal.

OR pay an amount of Rs. 435/- (Rupees Four Hundred and Thirty Five only) at any TS /AP Online Franchise Centre and obtain the receipt on or before 30-01-2016.

ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR FOR THE B.Ed. ENTRANCE TEST :
Candidate satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for the entrance test.
1. The candidate should be an Indian citizen.
2. Candidates should have passed/appearing for final year examinations of B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc.(Home Science)/B.Com./B.E/B.Tech/B.C.A./B.B.M. at the time of submitting the Application for B.Ed. Entrance Test. Candidates should be required to produce marks memo and pass certificate at the time of admission Counselling, otherwise his/her candidature can’t consider for admission.

The candidate must also fulfil the above conditions along with any one of the 3 or 4 of the following.
3. Trained in-service teachers in elementary education
4. Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognised teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
5. The reservation for SC/ST/BC/PH categories as per the rules in force.
6. Candidate should have completed 21 years as on 01st July, 2015. No upper age limit.

Note: As per the GOMS No: 92, the candidates who passed M.B.B.S/B.D.S/B.A.M.S./B.L/L.L.B/B.A. (Languages)/B.O.L etc. and other such professional courses are not eligible for admission into B.Ed. course.

ADMISSION :
Admissions are made strictly on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria fixed by the University will be admitted. Centralised admissions will be done on the basis of the score obtained in the Entrance Test conducted by BRAOU. The candidate will be required to submit only the filled-in application form without any enclosures. The enclosures (documents) mentioned in the instructions for filling-in the application form to be submitted later after receiving the letter of offer for admission counselling to B.Ed. from the University after the entrance test.

Entrance Test Details :

The Question paper of the Entrance will have 3 parts for 100 marks. The details are given below.
Part-A General English Comprehension – 25 Marks
Part-B Proficiency in Telugu – 25 Marks
Part-C General Mental Ability – 50 Marks

SCHEME OF THE ENTRANCE TEST :
** The entrance test will be held on 14-02-2016 from 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM
** Candidates are expected in the examination hall by 10.00 AM.
** The entrance test will be for 100 Marks with 100 objective type (Multiple Choice) questions and is of 2 hours duration.
** The syllabus and the model questions are furnished separately in this booklet.

MEDIUM OF ENTRANCE TEST :
The question paper, except General English section, will be in Telugu.

Note: The Qualifying mark in the B.Ed. Entrance Test for all candidates, except SC/ST, is 35. For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities ranking will be extended below the qualifying mark.

RANKING :
Candidates will be ranked in the order of the merit in the B.Ed. entrance test. In case of candidates getting equal mark, Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of tie the marks obtained in Part-B and then Part-A will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In the case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test paper, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates, and the older candidates shall be given priority. The rank obtained in B.Ed. Entrance Test is valid for entry into B.Ed. Programme for that academic year 2015-2016 only.

Note: Request for Re-Totalling and Re-valuation or personal identification of scripts will not be entertained.

EXAMINATION CENTRES : The Entrance Test will be held at the Regional Coordination Centres of BRAOU.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE CHOICE OF SUBJECT METHODOLOGY IN B.Ed :
i. Mathematics: Candidate with B.A./ B.Sc. / B.E/ B.Tech. with mathematics as subjects or B.C.A candidates with Mathematics at intermediate level as a group subject.
ii. Physical Sciences: Candidates with B.Sc /B.E/B.Tech who have studied Physics and Chemistry or Allied Material Sciences (Physics and Chemistry) at intermediate level as group subject.
iii. Biological Sciences: Candidates with B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Home Science) who have studied Botany and Zoology or Allied Life Sciences under Part – II group subjects or B.C.A. candidates with Biological Sciences at intermediate level as group subject.
iv. Social Studies: All candidates with B.A./B.Com./B.B.M. or B.C.A. candidates with Social Sciences at intermediate level as group subject

Note: The percentage of number of candidates to be admitted in each methodology (subject) in the University shall be as follows:
(a) Mathematics: 30%
(b) Physical Sciences: 15%
(c) Biological Sciences: 25%
(d) Social Studies: 30%

ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSIONS :
1. NCTE recognised teacher education programme
2. Degree Provisional Certificate and Year wise Marks Memos
3. Date of Birth Certificate / SSC Certificate
4. Service certificate as on date of the admission counselling.
5. Integrated Caste Certificate, if applicable
6. Medical Board Certificate (for PH candidates)
7. Transfer Certificate 8. Migration Certificate.
9. Intermediate / 10+2 certificate.
10. Study Certificates (IX to Degree) or Residence Certificate
