PAT Polytechnic Admission Test :

ONLINE Applications from the desirous eligible candidates are invited through website hptechboard.com for seeking admission in Engineering Diploma courses in the H.P. State Polytechnic Govt. Private for the Admission Session 2015-16 for which H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board will conduct the Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT-2016).

Steps to Apply Online :
No queues, no waiting, and no travel; follow these simple steps and your application will reach the Admission Committee at that very instant:
1 Visit URL hptechboard.com and click on online admission.
2 You will reach the homepage of HPTSB Online Admissions.
3 Click on ‘Admission Information’.
4 You will be asked to select Admission Program.
5 Click on the button for which you wish to apply (Polytechnic – PAT/Polytechnic – LEET/PHARMACY).
6 You will be redirected to the Information Page.
7 Click on “New User Registration” Link under “Online Services”
8 You will be redirected to “New Registration Page”
9 Enter all the Details and click on Submit button.
10 On submitting the form an Email will be sent to you on your email ID.
11 On the home page click on Login button.
12 Enter the Login and Password to login.
13 Click on Apply online Link.
14 You will be redirected to the Application Form with auto populated details which are provided during the New Registration.
15 Please provide all the details as required in the application form. ‘*’ marked fields are mandatory and information must be entered to complete and submit the form successfully.
16 You may read the Instructions to fill the form before starting with filling the details.
17 Refer section ‘Fields in Form’ below to know what is to be filled under each field.
18 In case you are non-Himachali, all sub-categories would be disabled and are not needed to be filled.

19 Once you have completely filled the form, read the Terms & Conditions carefully. It is mandatory to accept terms & conditions to submit the form. Click on the checkbox to accept the terms and conditions.

20 Once form is filled and terms & conditions are accepted, click on “Save & Proceed to Next step” button at the end of the form.
21 You will be navigated to Next step to attach “Photograph and Signature”.
22 Upload the Photo and signature and Click on “Save & Proceed to Next step” to make the Payment.
23 Payment can be made through Bank Challan or Online.

24 In case of Challan, follow the below steps or else go to point no: 25 in case of Online Payment
a. Click on “Generate Challan” button and save as pdf file on your desktop and take print out.

b. Visit your nearest Bank to make the payment through Bank Challan. You will receive a transaction reference number. Note down the reference number for future correspondence if any.

c. Login to the application through same URL with your login name and password by clicking on link ‘Login Existing Member’. Enter your user name and password and Click on ‘Application status’ to view the status.

d. You can also edit the form if required by clicking on “Payment selection'” link and then Click on “Edit Form” to edit the details if required or else Enter your payment details such as reference No. received from the Bank.
a. Enter Transaction reference number as provided by Bank.
b. Date of Deposit.
c. Bank Name.
d. Branch Name.
e. Enter the captcha image, you see on your screen in text box ‘Code and Click on “Submit & Print Receipt” button.

25 Online Payment Steps:
a. Click on “Online” radio button from “Payment options”.
b. Select the Card type (Debit/Credit) and enter all the necessary details.
c. Click on Pay.
d. You will get an acknowledgement screen once your payment is successful.
e. It will display message “You have been successfully registered!!”.
f. Once the Payment is successful then Permanent Registration number will be generated to the user
g. You can login on the portal later to view the Application Status, or take print of Application Form / Acknowledgement.

Note: You can edit the form anytime till you have made the payment and filled the payment details. Once the payment details are confirmed by the HPTSB, you will not be able to edit the details thereafter.
