EXAMINATION SCHEME :
** In the very nature of competitive examination, no syllabus can be prescribed. However, it is an exercise to pick up the best. There would be a single question paper for all the candidates appearing in JET-2015 for seeking admission in the undergraduate programme in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Dairy Technology and Food Technology.

** The Question Paper would be available in the following five (05) subjects namely, Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, however, candidate has to attempt three subjects as opted in application form.

** The candidates desiring admission in Agriculture/ Horticulture/Forestry have to attempt any three subjects.

** For admission in Dairy Technology and Food Technology, candidates must attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only.

** Candidates attempting the same subject twice or thrice will be disqualified for admission.

** The question paper will be bilingual and consists of multiple choice type questions (pick up the most suitable answer).

** The question paper will be in the form of a test booklet containing different subjects viz Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture each having 40 questions. There would be four suggested option [(1), (2), (3), (4)] to each question.

** The candidates are required to choose the most appropriate option and blacken the corresponding circle with the black/blue ball point pen in the OMR sheet (Details for filling answer sheet are given on back side of duplicate OMR sheet). The test booklet may be used by the students for rough work and the squares printed in it may be used for deciding the correct answer. Assessment will be made only on the basis of marking on the OMR sheet.

** Marking scheme: Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer (Negative marking). If more than one option is chosen, it will be treated as wrong answer. No marks will be allotted or deducted for questions unmarked/unattempted.

** The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentile marks obtained by the candidates, either appearing in one/more than one programme.

SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION :
JET-2015 will be conducted on 31st May, 2015 (Sunday) from 11.00 AM to 1:00 PM .

The schedule of the test will be:
Candidate should report to the examination centre 10:30 AM
Commencement of the examination 11:00 AM
No candidate will be permitted after 11:30 AM
Candidate will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 1:00 PM

NOTE: Information regarding college wise number of seats, filling of option form etc. for seeking admission will be displayed after declaration of result.

IMPORTANT :
All information related to the JET-2015 will be available on University website candidates are advised to visit the website regularly

** The Online application shall not be entertained in any case after 11th May, 2015.
** The candidates applying for admission to more than one programme shall submit only one application form.
** Candidate awarded supplementary in qualifying examination, even if securing merit of JET, will not be considered for admission.
** If information/documents are found false at any stage, admission will be cancelled with immediate effect and total fees will be forfeited.
** The JET-2015 shall be held on Sunday, 31th May, 2015 from 11.00 AM to 1.00 PM at the centers specified by the University at Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Kota, Udaipur and Jodhpur
** The Co-ordinator has the right to the change the centre of examination.

SCHEME OF PRE-PG TEST – 2015 :
In the very nature of competitive examination no syllabus can be prescribed. It is an exercise to pick up the best. However, for guidance to the candidates the syllabus and standard of the Entrance Test will be that of B.Sc. (Ag.) and B.Sc. (Home Science) examination of SKRAU, Bikaner, and MPUAT, Udaipur, respectively.

The Question paper will be in English only.

The Question paper will consist of multiple choice objective type questions. The question paper of either faculty will be in the form of a test booklet containing 100 questions bearing number 1, 2, 3…..to….. 100. There would be four suggested options (1,2,3,4) for each question. The candidates are required to choose the most appropriate option and blacken the corresponding circle,Details for filling answer sheet is given on back side of duplicate OMR sheet.

The test booklet may be used by the students for rough work and the squares printed in it may be used for deciding the correct answer from the various alternatives. Only OMR sheet will be collected from them at the end of the examination and assessment will be made only on the basis of the OMR sheet.

Four marks will be awarded for every correct answer and one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. Thus, there will be negative marking. If more than one option is chosen, it will be treated as wrong answer. No marks will be allotted or deducted for questions unmarked/unattempted.

There is no provision of revaluation of answer sheets and answer sheet will not be shown to anybody in any case.

Merit of Pre-P.G. examination will be notified on university website. The candidates securing a minimum percentage (with 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/SBC (Non creamy layer) candidates) as decided by the Co-ordinator would be eligible for submitting the Option Form.
