Rank :
i. All candidates appeared for the Entrance Test will be awarded SVUEET-2016 test Rank as per marks secured in the test appeared.
ii. In case of a tie between candidates securing the same marks in the test, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in Part-A of the Test. In case of a further tie, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in Part-B and in case of further tie, the date of birth of the candidate shall be taken into account, with priority to older candidate.
iii. Rank card can be downloaded from the website svudoa.in
iv. There is no provision for revaluation or personal verification of the answer sheet.
Allotment Of Seats In 6 – Year Dual Degree Programme :
1. Admissions into 6 Year Dual Degree Programme: (B.Tech.+M.Tech.) will be processed as per rank order obtained in the Entrance Test SVUEET -2016 conducted by Directorate of Admissions, S.V. University, Tirupati.
2. The Candidates admitted into this programme shall be awarded B.Tech + M.Tech Degree after successful completion of 6-Year course.
3. The Programme shall be run in a semester pattern with internal and external assessment.
Local And Non-Local Candidates :
1. The SVU region comprises of Chittoor, Nellore, Kadapa, Anantapur and Kurnool districts.
2. A candidate is treated as local to SVU region if
i. he/she has studied in that region (or stayed in case of private study) for four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which he/she has first appeared for the final year qualifying examination.
ii. he/she has studied (or stayed in case of private study) for seven consecutive academic years within the state of Andhra Pradesh ending with the academic year in which he/she first appeared for the final year qualifying examination and studied (or stayed in case of private study) for a maximum period in that region.
iii. In case a candidate has studied (or stayed in case of private study) for equal periods in two different regions during the last seven years, he/she is local to that region where he/she has studied (or stayed in case of private study) lastly.
3. Any candidate who is not local to one region is treated as non-local to that region, if
i. he/she is local to any other region in Andhra Pradesh State.
ii. he/she resided for a total period of not less than 10 years in Andhra Pradesh (excluding the periods of study outside the State).
iii. his/her parents have resided in Andhra Pradesh for a total period of not less than 10 years.
iv. his/her parent/spouse is presently working in Andhra Pradesh in government or allied service.
Rule Of Reservation :
Admissions will be made basing on the marks obtained in the entrance examination SVUEET-2016 following the rule of reservation.
Seats allocated for different reserved categories are as follows: SC-15%, ST-6%, BCA-7%, BCB-10%, BCC-1%, BCD-7%, BCE-4%, ECA (Extra-curricular activity)-4%, PH (Physically handicapped)-3% and CAP (Children of Armed Personnel)-2%.
Reservation for women: 33.33% of the seats are reserved for women candidates in each category (i.e., OPEN, SC, ST, BC, ECA, PH and L/NL). This rule is not applied if women candidates selected on merit in a category form one third or more of the seats therein. If there are no suitable women candidates in a category, the seats will be filled with men candidates of the same category.
