Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore announces schedule for admission in the following UG and PG programmes being offered at its University Teaching Departments for the session 2016-17

Programmes after 10+2: B.C.A., Bachelor in Vocation (B.Voc.) in Interior Design / Fashion Technology/Physical Edu. And Sports(B.P.E.S)

Programmes after Graduation :
M.Sc./M.A. (Mathematics/Statistics),M.Sc.(Physics/ Physics-Material Science / Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/ Applied Mathematics), M. Sc.(Bio-informatics/Genetic Engineering), M. Sc. Biotechnology-(Industry Sponsored Seats), M. Sc. (Computer Science / IT/Instrumentation).

M.A.(Economics/ Sanskrit Jyotish/ Sanskrit Sahitya/Functional Hindi Translation & Literature/Yoga), B. Lib.&I.Sc/M. Lib&I.Sc, (both one year programmes.), M.B.A. (Comp. Mangt.), M.S.W.

Diploma Programmes:
Diploma ( Dramatics/ Interior Design.,/ P.G. Diploma( Population Education & Demography/Adv. Transl. and Funct. Hindi/ Guidance & counseling/Yoga Therapy/PGDCA.

The entrance test for the programmes will be conducted by the concerned School of Studies. The application fee of Rs. 750/- (For SC/ST candidates, Rs. 400/- only) must be paid through mponline portal, mponline.gov.in OR through its authorized kiosk.

Last date of submission of application form is 21st June, 2016. The details of eligibility, number of seats, fee structure, date of test etc. are available on the university website

HOW TO APPLY :

** The candidate is advised to apply for admission only if he/she fulfills the eligibility requirements. The onus of checking appropriate eligibility lies with the candidate.

** Online entrance test shall be conducted for following School of Studies: 1) School of Physics, 2) School of Statistics,3) School of Mathematics, 4) School of Chemical Sciences, 5) School of Biotechnology, 6) School of Computer Science & IT and 7) IET.

** Following School of Studies shall have admission through entrance test/ counseling: 1) School of Economics, 2)School of Instrumentation, 3) School of Social Sciences, 4) School of Languages, 5) School of Library Science, 6) Department of Life Long Learning, 7) Yoga Centre, 8) School of Physical Education.

** If applicants wish to be considered for more than one course, then must apply in separate application form for each course.
** Candidate is advised to mark correctly his/her category and required to enclose certificate to claim the benefit. Change of category shall not be accepted thereafter.
** Application fee for Admission-2016 is Rs. 750/- (SC/ST Rs.400/-) must be paid through mponline portal OR through its authorized kiosk.
** Candidate is required to report at the given date and time at the test center by concerned school of studies.
** The candidates who fail to indicate the appropriate reservation category in the respective column of the application form will not have any claim for the reservation later on.

** The name of the candidate must be the same as given in the mark sheet of the qualifying examination of the Board/University. Competent authorities should certify the discrepancies in the names of various mark sheets, if any.

** Non-appearance in the written test and counseling (if required), for whatsoever reason, will automatically disqualify the candidature for the admission.

** The Information given in the application form will be verified at the time of counseling / admission from the original documents by the University.

Therefore, if it is found that a successful application has provided incorrect or false information or withheld some relevant information at the time of filling up the application form, the applicant shall be debarred from admission or his admission can be cancelled at any time during the course of his/her studies without giving him any prior notice.

** In case any Board of examination/ University / Institute do not show percentage of marks in the mark sheet, a certificate from the competent authority of the Board/ University / Institute must be produced stating equivalent percentage of marks as well as conversion formula used, along with the mark sheet at the time of admission.

** The decision of the University Authority shall be final and binding in the matter relating to admission. The rules may be modified without any prior notice and any modification so made shall be binding.

** Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, will use all reasonable endeavors to deliver courses, duration and other services in accordance with the descriptions set out in this guidelines.

The University reserves the right to rename any programme degree, make variations in the contents and methods of delivery of courses and other services, to discontinue course and other service and to merge or combine courses, if such action is reasonably considered to be necessary. All admitted students, who are not enrolled with the university, would be required to enroll themselves as per University rules.

** The admission to various programmes will be as per the Madhya Pradesh Government reservation policy.
** Any legal dispute regarding Admission-2016 is subject to Indore jurisdiction.
** No written communication will be provided. Applicants are advised to see the university website. University reserves the right to modify / alter any information provided in advertisement at any stage.
