Admission to Ph.D. July :

Applications are invited from interested candidates for admission to full time Ph. D. Programmes – Academic Session (July – Dec. 2016) in the following Departments

Online Application Forms and Prospectus are available through university website shiats.edu.in only.

Duly completed application form should be submitted to the office of Dean, Post Graduate Studies along with a DD/Online payment details of Rs.1200/- in favour of the “Registrar, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad”.

Instructions for filling the Online Application Form :
Kindly follow the instructions for submitting the online application form.
1 Go through all the details in the Admission Procedure
2 Fill the Application Form duly
3 Submit the Online APPLICATION FORM by clicking “Submit” button, incase the page does not show up properly fill the form again and submit
4 After Submitting the Form you will be getting Online Application Form with Query Number and Query Code. This is the Confirmation that your Application Form has been successfully Submitted.
5 If you do not receive the Online Application Form with ‘Query Number’ and Query Code please submit the APPLICATION FORM again
6 Upload passport size photograph (maximum size 40 kb)

7 Take the printout of Online Application Form and make the payment
Payment options:
I Demand Draft: Make a Demand Draft in favor of The Registrar, SHIATS, Payable at Allahabad.
II Challan: Click on ONLINE FEE, enter your Query No. and Query Code, select PNB or AXIS Bank Challan. Take the printout of the Challan and deposit the amount in the respective Bank.

III Online SBI Collect : Open S.B.I. Web Site ( onlinesbi.com ) and Click on State Bank Collect, After accepting the term & conditions, Select State of Corporate/ Institution : Uttar Pradesh, Select Type of Corporate / Institution : Educational Institution and Click Go Select Educational Institution Name : SHIATS, Naini, Allahabad and Click Sumit, Select Payment Category : Online Application Form and Enter Query No, Name etc.. and Click Submit. Take a printout of successfully completed payment page with Reference No.

8 Affix a Photograph in the online form and fill payment Details. Mention your Query Number, Name and Contact Phone Number on the reverse page of the payment details. Send the online form along with payment details through registered post to The Registrar, Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh – 211007.

9 Your online Application Form will be accepted after receiving the completed form with payment. This would help us to generate Application Form Number and Admit Card for Entrance test
10 Get the Form Number on receipt of Query Number from our website.
11 You can print an ADMIT CARD on receipt of FORM NUMBER from our website.
12 Use the same photograph that you use whenever asked to.
13. Keep a record of all the numbers generated and details for your convenience.

Registration, Admission & Commencement of Classes 05th August, 2016

Note:
** Candidates who had cleared UGC/ICAR/CSIR JRF Test within two years from the date of this advertisement need not to appear in Written Entrance Test. However, they have to fill the Entrance Test Application Form and appear in Interview on 28th July, 2016 with all the Testimonials & Certificates.

** Admit cards/ Call letter can be downloaded from the University website (shiats.edu.in) only.
** There will be 120 objective type questions, out of which 40 questions are based on General / Academic aptitude and 80 questions are based on the subject studied at master’s level
