JEMAT :

The Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) is a state level eligibility of the Govt. of W.B. conducted by the MAKAUTWB. Test held every year for admission to the MBA /MHA/AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes offered by the Management Institutions of the State (both government and private).

Eligibility :
The Minimum qualification for admission to MBA programmes is a Bachelors degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Engineering/Technology/Medical/Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized universities. The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) may also apply.

How to apply :
The application form is to be submitted on line at wbut.ac.in and the brochure may be downloaded from wbut.ac.in. Filled up application forms are to be printed and submitted to the University office along with copies of marksheets, certificates, testimonials and a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- for general category and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST/OBC candidates, drawn in favour of WBUT-JEMAT payable at Kolkata.

Online application process starts from: 1st July, 2016
Last date for submission of online application form: 14th July 2016
Last date for receipt of hard copy of completed application form at University office: 18th July 2016
Admit cards may be downloaded from the website on and from: 20th July 2016
Written test: 24th July 2016
Publication of result: Around: 29th July 2016
GD/PI and Counselling dates will be announced later.
