UG/PG Admission :

Online Registration of only All India Candidature Candidates aspiring for admissions to First Year of B. Chem. Engg. / B. Tech. Courses at, ICT, Mumbai for the Academic Year 2016-17.

The admissions will be carried out based on the JEE (Main) Paper – I score. The Vice Chancellor, ICT, Mumbai shall act as a Nodal officer to carry out these admissions under the supervision & Control of the Competent Authority.

The Eligibility Criteria for All India Candidature Candidates :
(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;

Or
(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

Or
ii) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

and
(iii) Obtained Score in JEE (Main) 2016 Paper I conducted by the Competent Authority.

1 Online registration for All India candidature candidates. 15/07/2016 to 18/07/2016 upto 5.00 pm.
2 Display of the provisional merit lists on website dtemaharashtra.gov.in and ictmumbai.edu.in 19/07/2016
3 Submission of Grievances through email: ictadmission3036[at]ictmumbai.edu.in 19/07/2016 and 20/07/2016 upto 5.00 pm
4 Display of Final merit list for All India candidates 21/07/2016
5 Round – I Document Verification and Admission Round by Counseling in person at ICT, Mumbai 24/07/2016 09.00 am onwards
6 Round – II Document Verification and Admission Round by Counseling in person at ICT, Mumbai 30/07/2016 09.00 am onwards
7 If seats remain vacant after Round II, those will be filled by JEE (Main) Paper-I score candidates. In case of unavailability of candidates from JEE (Main) Paper-I, vacant seats will be filled by MHT-CET 2016 candidates. This will be notified on 02/08/2016.

1. The Eligible candidates appearing in the merit list published earlier by the Competent Authority for the admission to First year of Four year Degree course in Engineering and Technology are ALSO required to apply again for these 30% All India seats through the link. Such candidates need not pay any application fee and should mention their Application ID issued by Competent Authority in the application form.

2. The candidates who are applying for the first time or whose names are not appearing in the final merit list published by competent authority on 22/06/2016, are required to apply and pay the fee Rs. 800/- for Open Category and Rs. 600/ for Reserved Category through the online gateway provided.

3. The merit list for the All India candidature candidates shall be prepared, on the basis of marks/ score in JEE (Main) 2016 Paper I. Provided that in case of tie, the relative merit shall be resolved in the following order of preferences;
i) Higher marks in Mathematics at JEE (Main) Paper – I;
ii) Higher marks in Physics at JEE (Main) Paper – I;
iii) Higher percentage of marks in Board or qualifying examination for Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry taken together;
iv) Higher percentage of marks in the subject Mathematics at HSC;
v) Higher percentage of marks in the subject Physics at HSC;
vi) Higher percentage of marks in Aggregate at HSC

5.The allotment shall be done as per inter-se-merit prepared on the basis of Score/Marks in JEE (Main) 2016 paper – I, and if seats remain vacant then, such vacant seats shall be allotted to the students as per inter-se-merit prepared on the basis of score/ Marks in MHT-CET 2016 by conducting extra counseling round at ICT Mumbai.

6. These admissions shall be carried out through Counseling at ICT, Mumbai. Candidate must be present in person along with all original documents for Counseling.
