AIMNET :

All India Merchant Navy Entrance Test (AIMNET) is a standeredised test being administrated since 2013, to facilitate maritime training institutes to screen candidates for admission to Maritime and allied programmes.

Eligibility Criteria for GPR (General Purpose Rating)
Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed 10th (High School) / 12th (Intermediate) with any stream.
Height: 5 feets.
Age Limit: 17 – 28 Years.
Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (No any fracture or any big operation in body) & No Color Blindness (As Per MS 2000 Rules).
Note: Final year students of Graduate Courses & Graduates can also apply but their age limit 28 Yrs, NIOS board pass students can also apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Deck Rating
Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed 12th (Intermediate) with PCM 50%.
Height: 5 feets.
Age Limit: 17-28 Years.
Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (Ni any fracture or any big operation in body), Eye Sight should be 6/6 & No Color Blindness (As Per MS 2000 Reles).
Note: Final year students of B.Sc & B.Sc Finals can also apply but their age limit 28 Yrs, NIOS board pass students can also apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Fitter/Welder/Electrician
Educational Qualification: Candidates have Passed ITI with (Fitter/Welder/Electrician)
Height: 5.5 feets.
Age Limit: 17-28 Years.
Medically Fitness: Fully medically fit (Ni any fracture or any big operation in body), Eye Sight should be 6/6 & No Color Blindness (As Per MS 2000 Reles).

Only Male candidate can Apply for this Entrance Exam, Female’s are not eligible to Apply for this Exam. Multiple Application will be rejected.

Instructions and Procedure for submission of Online Application Form :
1. Candidates should apply for All India Merchant Navy Entrance Test (AIMNET) – 2016 ‘ON-LINE’ only through website aimnet.net.in

2. Candidates should have to bring all his Original Documents (Relating to their Age, Educational Qualification) at Exam Center for verification.
Note: Only Male candidate can Apply for this Entrance Exam, Female’s are not eligible to Apply for this Exam. Multiple application will be rejected.

3. Examination Fees

Service Charges & Service Taxes (as applicable) will be charged extra by the Bank
The fee can be remitted in the following ways:
Examination Fee will be deposited at Exam Center through Demand Draft or Cash.

4. Application Procedure: 2 Simple Steps to be followed to apply online
Step 1: Fill the Online Application Form and note down system generated Application Number The candidate should supply all the details while filling the Online Application Form, After successful submission of your form you will get your Application Number and Password trough message on your given Contact Number and it will be used to Relogin to change any information in Application Form.

Upload Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature:
The scanned images of photograph and Signature should be in jpg/jpeg format only.
Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 40 kb.
Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 30 kb.

Step 2: Print the Confirmation Page:
The Candidate should take print of Confirmation Page and keep it for future reference. The Confirmation Page should not be sent to AIMNET.
