ENTRANCE EXAMINATION DETAILS :

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :
1. (a) Candidates seeking admission to Post Graduate M.Pharm Degree course should submit the Application Form in original with necessary enclosures should reach
The Secretary,
Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges Association – Health Sciences,
Prasanna Enclave, No: 30, Bharathi Avenue, (Near Kotturpuram Railway Station), Kotturpuram, Chennai – 600 085.
On or before by 18th May 2015 by 5.00 P.M. .

(b) The Candidates shall ensure that the completed application form with all particulars and enclosures reaches this Consortium office within the date and time specified. Applications received by speed post / courier or any other means, after the last date and time will not be accepted.

( c) This Consortium shall not be responsible for any delay in the receipt or for the loss in transit of application form etc.

( d ) No oral enquiry would be entertained.

(e) Photo copy / Fax copy of the application will not be accepted.

2. The Government Orders issued and to be issued from time to time pertaining to any of the matters contained in the prospectus should be read as part and parcel of this prospectus and such terms and conditions in the Government Order are deemed to have been incorporated in this prospectus.

3. Admission to the Entrance Examination does not confer on the candidate the right of admission if found to be ineligible later.

4. The Application Register Number (AR No.) will be assigned by this Consortium.

5. It shall be the responsibility of the candidate to give the correct mailing address. If there is any change of address, it should be intimated immediately to the Consortium in writing.

6. Applications without the Demand Draft will not be accepted. The name of the candidate should be mentioned on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
7. Candidates should possess a B.Pharm.Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University or any other University recognized as Equivalent thereto by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University / Pharmacy Council. Candidates who have qualified from other Universities should obtain and produce an Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University at the time of admission.

8. Candidates seeking admission to the Postgraduate M.Pharm.Degree course should have obtained not less than 50% of the total marks obtained in all semester subject marks taken together in the B.Pharm.Degree course. In case of failure(s) the pass marks in the subsequent attempts shall be taken for calculation purpose. Number of attempts are not considered for calculation of marks.

CONDUCT OF EXAMINATION :
19.(a) The Entrance Examination will be conducted only at Chennai as scheduled below:

(b) The Results will be published within two days after the commencement of Entrance Examination.

Fees: Rs.55,000/- fixed by the Fee fixation Committee, Guindy, Chennai – 600 025

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:-
38. Candidates selected for admission should give a declaration that he / she is liable for forfeiture of admission if suppression of facts are found at any time during or after admission to the course. The admission shall be liable for cancellation based on declaration at any time during or after the admission to the course.

39. Candidates securing Entrance Examination marks less than 45% of the total marks in Other Communities and 35% of total marks in the reserved communities (BC, BCM, MBC,SC, SCA and ST) will not be considered for admission. Total marks (100) = Entrance Examination Marks (90) + Experience Marks (10).

DURATION OF COURSE :
40. The duration of the Post Graduate M.Pharm.Degree course shall be 2 years.

EXAMINATION FEES :
41. The Candidate should send a Demand Draft of Rs.1,000/- for Examination fee drawn favour of “TNPPCA-HS” payable at Chennai along with the application form. The candidates using the downloaded application form shall send Rs.1,500/- Demand Draft along with the application form.

42. Special fees and other fees are to be paid at the time of admission in respective colleges.

STRICT INSTRUCTION:-
43. The candidates who join M.Pharm. Degree course should not indulge in any kind of agitation / strike / ragging activity inside / outside the college campus during the course of study. Candidates found to be taking part in any such activities mentioned above will be expelled from the course / college, at any point during the course of study and criminal action will be taken against them.

44. Any candidate appearing the Entrance Examination is deemed to have read the contents in the prospectus and agrees with all the conditions and clauses and will not have the right to challenge any of the clauses contained in this prospectus after appearing for the Entrance Examination.
