Jain University JET

Jain Entrance Test (JET) is conducted by Jain University every year for admissions to various UG and PG programs. Candidates who wish to get enrolled in Jain University should qualify in the JET.

Exam date for UG Programs: 5 – 6 May 2018
Exam date for B.Tech Programs: 22 April 2018

UG Online Application Form Guidelines

Candidates pay the application fee (non-refundable) for the preferred program through Online Payment Gateway Mode. Candidates should have a valid Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking facility to proceed further.

Candidates can purchase the Non-Refundable Online Application Coupon from the Admissions Office and redeem the same by entering the specific coupon code in the Online Payment Gateway under the heading ‘Coupon Code’.

Eligibility for JET

The applicant(s) are to fulfill these criteria to be eligible to seek provisional admission for UG Programs
** The applicant(s) to appear for and clear the Jain Entrance Test (JET) Process that includes Written Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview
** The applicant(s) to obtain the minimum cut-off percentage and above at the 12th Board/ 2nd PUC examination/ Equivalent examination recognized by Jain University. The cut-off percentage will be communicated to the applicant(s) during the JET Process as it differs from Program to Program

Note :
** IB students should get 30 credits to qualify for the respective Program. Provisional admission will be given on predicted scores. Students who fail to get the required credits will stand to have their admission canceled. Cambridge students must study 2 or 3 subjects at an advanced level
** For eligibility criteria of SC/ST Category, please contact the Admissions Office
** The applicant(s) are to visit the website, jainuniversity.ac.in for updates pertaining to the Jain Entrance Test and follow the process accordingly
** The JET will be a 2-day process and hence the applicant(s) are to plan accordingly

** Any change request for Jain Entrance Test dates will not be entertained
** It is mandatory for the applicant(s) to carry along with them the ‘Jain Entrance Test Hall Ticket’ for the JET process

The applicant(s) to carry the following documents, both original and photocopies (2 in number) for the JET process:
** Downloaded JET Application Form duly signed by the Applicant/Parent
** 10th Mark sheet
** 11th Mark sheet
** 12th Mark sheet if results are announced at the time of appearing for JET
** 2 recent passport and 2 stamp size photographs in formal dress. The size of the photo should be 35mm x 45 mm with white background – Standard Indian Passport Format (name of the applicant(s) and the application number to be written on the back side of the photographs)

Applicant(s) must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules. Any documents that are pending to be submitted to the respective Study Campus Administrative Office, Jain University should be submitted on or before 30th June’18 (for B.Tech Program – 30th July’18). Failing to submit the documents leads to disqualifying the applicant’s admission.

The list of original documents to be submitted are as below:
** 10th Mark sheet
** 11th Mark sheet
** Transfer Certificate from the last Institution studied (qualifying examination)
** Migration Certificate
** Copy of Aadhaar Card
** Copy of Passport and Visa Page (if available) for applicant(s) from Outside of India
** Work Experience Certificate, Joining Letter / Proof of Work Details and latest salary slip (Mandatory) for relevant programs only

** It is mandatory to attend the sessions from day one of the commencement of the respective Program

Note :
** Jain University reserves the right to change/alter the dates or timing at any given time during the application process
** Jain University will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the Application and supporting documents that are sent through post/courier or received at the Study Campus Administrative Office or Admissions Office
** Jain University will not be held responsible for any inadvertent error that may have crept in the online submission of application or Jain Entrance Test Hall Ticket / Results being published
** Admission Registration fee is non-refundable
** The University does not collect any type of capitation/donation and do not authorize any third party to issue or process application and admission
** If the application is incomplete or incorrect, the University has the right to reject it
** Applicant(s) are advised to keep a photocopy of the printed application form for further reference
** Please be aware that ignorance of the guidelines/terms and conditions will not be accepted as an excuse
** Applications are accepted through online only

Admission Cancellation Process

Cancellation will be based on UGC regulation F.No 6-1(7)/2006(CPP-I) which states “Should a student leave after joining the course and if the seat consequently falling vacant has been filled by another candidate by the last date of admissions, the Institution must return the fee collected with proportionate deductions on monthly fee and proportionate hostel rent, wherever applicable”.

The application for cancelation should be submitted by the candidate in-person by presenting the
** Original fee paid receipt, b) document submission receipt and c) any other documents that had been received from the University
** No email, telephonic or courier/postal communication will be accepted for cancellation/refund process
** No candidate will be entitled to a refund on or after the date of commencement of classes
