GNIHM JET Entrance Exam

It is a very popular All India Joint Entrance examination for admissions to hotel management programs like B.sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration,M.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration, MBA in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The exam is also known as Jis Entrance Test.

It consists of 120 Marks Multiple Choice Questions with no negative Marking. Questions from General Knowledge, General Intelligence, and General English are the main subjects of this examination. Total time allotted 2hrs. No negative marking on the answers.

Cost of the Application Form and prospectus is Rs. 1000/- which can be paid through Debit card/Credit Card of any nationalized bank or through DD/Cheque in favour of “ Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management “ payable at Kolkata or cash payment is also accepted by the college.

Exam Pattern

JIS Entrance Test is a written tests for the students those who are interested to take admission in Guru Nanak IHM. It is a 120 minutes ( 2 hours) written test with 115 Multiple Choice Questions and five brief descriptive type questions. Total marks are 150. ( divided into 115 × 1 = 115 , 5×7 = 35 ( total marks 150 ) . Questions are generally from English, Aptitude, General Knowledge & current affairs.

Students will receive Admit Card to appear for the admission test through email, speed post, or courier service. Please check website for time and date of admission test ( gnihm.ac.in ) College will not be responsible for postal day and wrong email address. The format of the Admission Test is given on the Website.

Candidates are required to consult relevant periodicals and books for preparing for JET test. Candidates would not be allowed to carry any piece of paper or articles or book apart from the Admit Card in the Examination Centre. Any person found guilty of applying unfair means would have his/her examination cancelled.

Finally selected students of JET entrance examination will be eligible for admission in Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management.

Students can collect Application Form and prospectus from Guru Nanak IHM campus by making a payment of Rs. 1000/- by cash/cheque or Demand Draft in favour of “ Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management “ payable at Kolkata and submit the filled up Application Form ( by person or by post) to the Guru Nanak IHM Kolkata campus.

Students can Fill the online Application Form and download prospectus from the link below and submit the filled up Application Form by making a payment of Rs. 1000/- through one Debit card or Credit Card of any Nationalized or private Bank.
