VITEEE Eligibility

Nationality:
** The applicant for admission should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National.
** Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category only.

Qualifying Examination :
** Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2019 should have secured an aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate).

** The average marks obtained in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (PCM / PCB) in +2 (or its equivalent) put together should be 50% for the following categories
i. Candidates belonging to SC/ST

ii. Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura. CERTIFICATE TO PROVE NATIVITY should be produced at the time of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Age Limit :
** Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1997 are eligible to apply for VITEEE-2019.

VITEEE Application

Online Application Form

1. Visit the official website of VIT University provided above
2. Read the instructions carefully and click on “VITEEE Application-Apply Now” link at the end of the page.
3. Next follow the below steps to apply online for VITEEE-2019.

Step 1 : New User Registration
** Enter all the relevant details carefully.
** A password will be sent from VIT to your registered mobile no. and email id.

** All the VITEEE communications will be sent to your registered email id and mobile no. Request for change of Mobile Number / e-mail Id / Correspondence address will not be entertained under any circumstances.

Step 2 : Confirmation of password
** Login to ‘Registered users’ with the email id and password received from VIT.

Step 3 : Filling Online Application Form
** Provide all relevant details carefully, before submission.
** An application number will be generated after submission.
** Refer your application no. for all your future correspondence.

Step 4 : Mode Of Payment
** Online mode through Netbanking / Credit / Debit card / Paytm. Application Cost Rs.1150/- for General Candidates.
** NRI and Candidates opting abroad Test centres should pay USD 50 through online mode using credit card.

Step 5 : Photo & Signature Upload
** Photograph Image – Size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 4.5 CM.
** Signature Image – Size should be between 10 KB and 200 KB with the dimension of 3.5 CM X 1.5 CM.

Step 6 : Payment Transaction Queries
** At the time of transaction, if the amount is debited please do not try new application. Please wait for 48 hrs and try for the payment once again in the same registered email id.
** If the amount is not debited, you can try the payment again.

Offline Application Form

Candidates can obtain the application form at the cost of Rs.1200/- through the following modes
** From the designated list of post offices throughout India. List of Post offices (or)

** By producing the Demand Draft for Rs. 1200/- in favour of ‘Vellore Institute of Technology’, in person, from the following campuses
(i) VIT, Vellore Campus
(ii) VIT, Chennai Campus
(iii) VIT-Bhopal (MP)
(iv) VIT-Amaravati (AP)

VITEEE Schedule

** VIT Engineering Entrance Examination will be conducted between 10th April to 21st April 2019 (Tentative)
** The duration of the Entrance Examination will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes

** The exam will conducted as three session per day
Exam Timings (IST) :
** I Session – 09.00 am to 11.30 am
** II Session – 12.30 pm to 03.00 pm
** III Session – 04.00 pm to 06.30 pm

VITEEE Pattern

1. All Questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ)
** Part-I – Physics
** Part-II – Chemistry
** Part-III – Mathematics / Biology
** Part-IV – English

2. PCME (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English) – 120 questions (Each 40 questions) & English 5 questions = Total 125 questions
3. PCBE (Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) – 120 questions ( Each 40 questions) & English 5 questions = Total 125 questions
4. No Negative marks for wrong answers
