SBTET, Telangana, Hyderabad will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the academic year 2018 – 19.

POLYCET Eligibility

Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, TS, Hyderabad are eligible to apply. The candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC-2019 are also eligible to apply.

POLYCET Online Application

Just follow the below steps to apply for the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test 2019.

Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of SBTET through provided above.
Step 2 : Then click on the “File Application” link in the menu bar.

Step 3 : Fill the Application Form with the required details.
Step 4 : Upload Your Photo & Signature

Step 5 : Next, Pay Your Application fee
Step 6 : Finally click on “Submit” button to complete the registration.
Step 7 : After complete your application Download your Hall Ticket .

Application Fee

The general candidates shall pay the examination fee of Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only) and for SC/ST candidates Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only).

Steps :
Step 1 : Select Your Qualifying Exam
Step 2 : Enter Your Tenth Exam Hall Ticket No
Step 3 : Enter Your Date of Birth
Step 4 : Enter Your Tenth Passing/Appearing Year
Step 5 : Click on “View My Application Status” button.

Admission Schedule

The admission schedule (Web Counseling) will be notified in all the leading Newspapers after declaration of POLYCET-2019 results.

Candidates are advised to note that the admission into Polytechnics for the academic year 2019-20 shall be made on the basis of Web Counseling, wherein the candidates can opt for any courses in any Polytechnic in the order of priority and the allotment s his/her best preferred choice based on his/her merit and other admission rules in vogue.

Instructions

a) Admissions to Undivided Institutes
I. The candidates of Telangana State intending to seek admission into the courses offered in State wide Institutions of Telangana State, at the ratio of 42:36:22 in AU/OU/SVU respectively, and those other than Telangana State seeking admission under 15% unreserved quota offered in Telangana State, shall appear for POLYCET-2019 conducted by Telangana state.

II. The candidates of Telangana State intending to seek admission into the courses offered in State wide Institutions of A.P. State, at the ratio of 42:36:22 in AU/OU/SVU respectively and those Telangana students who seek admission under 15% unreserved quota offered in A.P. State shall appear for POLYCET-2019 conducted by A.P. State.

b) One Hall ticket will be generated against an Application Form.

c) Fill the Aadhar no, SSC Hall Ticket Number, year of appearance and Date of Birth on the Application by verifying your SSC Hall ticket/SSC certificate or its equivalent.
