Panjab University PU-CET (P.G.) Entrance Test 2021

Eligibility

Master of Laws (L.L.M. One-YearCourseand L.L.M. Two YearCourse):
A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible after qualifying the entrance test to join the first semester class of the LL.M. Course:

(a)LL.B. 3 YearDegree/ B.A. LL.B. / B.Com. LL.B. 5 Yeardegree examination of this University with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/BC/PwDcandidates); OR

(b)Any equivalent examinationof another University recognized by the Syndicate for this purpose.

Master of Computer Applications M.C.A.3-YearCourseand M.C.A. (Evening)(Self-Financing)3-YearCourse:
The minimum qualification for admission to the first Yearof the course shall be:

i)A recognized first degree of minimum three Years duration in any discipline with at least 50% marks(**)and with Mathematicsat 10+2 or at graduation level (all three Years); Or

ii)B.C.A. from Panjab University with 50% marks(**)Or

iii)B.Voc. (Software Development), B.Voc. (Hardware and Networking) & B.Voc. Multimedia (Graphics & Animation) with at least 50% marks (**) and with Mathematics at 10+2 level.Or

iv)Any examination recognized by the Panjab University Chandigarh as equivalent to any of the above examination (i), (ii) or (iii).** 5% concession is admissible in eligibility requirement to SC/ST/BC/PwD candidates.

M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication :
Passes one of the following examinations from a recognized University:
(i)Bachelor;s degree in any discipline with 50% marks in the aggregate.OR

(ii)Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks in the subject of Journalism & Mass Communication.OR

(iii)Bachelor’s degree with Hons. In the subject of Journalism & Mass Communication.OR

(iv)Master’s degree examination in any other subject

Masterin Public Health:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from recognized University/Institute.

MA (Geography):
A person shall be eligible only if:-

1.he/she has a Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate.

2.he/she has passed in Geography in the B.A. or B.Sc. examination with at least 45% marks;OR has obtained Post-graduate diploma in Cartography with atleast second division.

Mastersin Disaster Management:
Graduation in any discipline with atleast 50%marks in aggregate from Panjab University or from any other University recognized by the Panjab University as equivalent thereto.The Admission to the course shall be through an Entrance Test

Masters in Geoinformatics :
Bachelor’s Degree with Geography/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/Physics/ Botany/Environment Science / Computer Science/ Urban Planning/ Regional Planning / B.Tech./ B.C.A. or Master’s Degree in Geography / Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Physics/Botany/ Environment Science / Computer Science / M.C.A./Urban Planning/ Regional Planning with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The admission to the course shall be through Entrance Test.

M.A. (History):
B.A. with Honours in History. Bachelor’s degree in any faculty with atleast 50% marks in the aggregate. B.A. (PASS) / B.Sc. (PASS) examination in full subjects obtaining atleast 45% marks in the subject of History. Master’s degree examination in another subject or another faculty. The pass percentage of entrance test in history is 35% (30% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/PwD).

M.A. (Economics):
The candidates appearing for the Entrance Test for admission to M.A. Economics in the Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh from the academic session 2019-20 will be subject to the following eligibility conditions:

(i)The candidate must have passed B.A. with Honours in Economics, ORB.A. with Economics as an elective subject with 50% marks in aggregate.

(ii)Any other degree awarded by a UGC recognized University / Institution that is equivalent to either of the above mentioned degrees of the Panjab University.

Master of Social Work:
The Entrance Test is open to all such candidates who have any one of the following qualifications:

(a)Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 50% marks inany discipline from a recognized University / Institute.

(b)The Candidate belonging to SC/ST/BC/PwD categories shall be allowed 5% relaxation in the eligibility requirements.

(c)The candidates who have appeared / are appearing in the final year of Bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply

** Please enter your name as in matric (10thClass) certificate.
** Pick Date of Birth from Date picker.
** Enter your correct email ID.

** Select Passing year from drop down menu.
** Enter your Mobile No.
** Choose category if other than General.
** Check atleast one box. if you wish to appear in more than one course, check the corresponding boxes
** Select if you are or either of your Parents Class B or C Regular Employee of P.U.?
** Click on submit button to save your details.
** Note your Application Number, login ID and Password carefully (login ID and password are case senstive).
** Login to your account to pay fee online OR download fee challan. For paying through fee challan, take print out of the fee challan and deposit fee at any branch of State Bank of India, minimum one day after printing of fee challan

Step II:
After depositing your application fee:
** Please login with your login ID and Password.
** Click on Candidate form to upload your scanned photograph,signature and other important information.
** After submitting the information, please check carefully and lock(confirm) your application form.
** Unlocked and incomplete application form will not be considered.
** Take printout of your application form after submitting information.

** After successful payment, complete your form (If fee is paid using fee challan option then login after 24 Hrs. of depositing fee to complete your form).
** Upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, fill other important information and Save and Confirm. (Once you confirm the form, you will not be allowed to change information in the form.[last date for completion of form: May 24, 2021]
** Download your Admit Card after June 07, 2021.

Application Fee
