What is GAT Admission Test?

GAT Admission Test is conducted by Gandhi School of Technology.Application for admission to UG & PG Programs of Architecture, Science, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy and Physiotherapy offered at GITAM Campuses.The Application fee is Rs. 1000 and it is non-refundable.GAT Exam held on14th and 15th June, 2022 and the Last Date of GITAM Admission Test is 9th June, 2022.

If a student registers for one course, can they apply for other courses?
** Yes. A student can add the eligible courses after registration.
** They can log on with the same credentials and select the multiple courses they are interested in.

What are the various scholarships offered by GITAM for admissions?
** Merit scholarships are offered in all the programmes to provide financial benefit to merit and deserving students.
** There are three categories of scholarships – Merit scholarships to all deserving students, sports scholarships to sports athletes, Loyalty scholarships to the fraternity of GITAM.

Can a student appear for an exam more than once?
** One student can appear only once for each course and only for one phase.
** GITAM will not provide Re-appearing students with credentials by considering it an unfair practice of duplicate application,

How to complete the admission process during the pandemic period?
** The admission process is entirely online, and applicants are not required to visit physically anywhere.

Is it mandatory to stay at University Hostel?
** It is not mandatory for the students to reside in the Hostels.
** Those desirous of staying outside under their own arrangements shall reside outside the campus too.
