FRIDU M.Sc Admission Entrance Test

M.Sc. Online Examination -2024 is conducted by Forest Research Institute Deemed to be University FRIDU. Candidates have completed 3 years of Graduation (12+3 years) in an university. Candidates having 50% or above marks in general & OBC category and 45% marks for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes may apply. Last date of filling the Application form through link is 08th April, 2024.

Important Dates of M.Sc Admission Entrance Test

Opening date of filling the Application form through link(from) : 05th February, 2024
Last date of filling the Application form through link : 08th April, 2024
Date of Online Remote Proctored Admission test : 19th May,2024 (Sunday)
The dates and mode of examination (online/Offline) may be changed at the discretion of the university authorities.

Eligibility of M.Sc Admission Entrance Test

a) M.Sc. Forestry (43 Seats):
Eligibility: B.Sc. with at least one of the subjects namely Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology or B.Sc. degree in Agriculture or Forestry.
b) M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology (43 Seats):
Eligibility: B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or B.Sc. degree in Forestry.
c) M.Sc. Environment Management (43 Seats):
Eligibility: B.Sc. degree in any branch of basic or applied Sciences or B.Sc. Degree in Forestry or Agriculture or BE/B. Tech in Environment Science.
d) M.Sc. Cellulose & Paper Technology (26 Seats):
Eligibility: B.Sc. with Chemistry as one of the subjects or BE/B.Tech. (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering). The 2nd year of this course is likely to be conducted at Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute (CPPRI), Saharanpur.

Percentage Of Marks (in the qualifying examination):
For (a) (b) (c) & (d) Candidates having 50% or above marks in general & OBC category and 45% marks for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes may apply.

Reservation:
Out of the above, following seats are reserved for:
(a) SC & ST: 15% and 7.5% respectively
(b) Reservation to OBC: will be provided as per the policy of GOI
(c) Physically Handicapped: 3% reservation to the Persons with Disabilities under the Persons with Disabilities (Equal opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 Chapter No. 39, and for the candidates with locomotors disabilities [one leg, one arms (without mobility restriction)] and persons with partial deafness, in M.Sc. Forestry & M.Sc. Environment Management Courses. The candidates will have to produce disability certificate issued by competent authority at the time of counseling for admission.
(d) ICFRE Employee: 5 seats (supernumerary).

How To Apply for M.Sc Admission Entrance Test?

Candidates have to fill the application form through the link given in the University website www.fridu.edu.in and send the duly filled application form along with the demand draft of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees One thousand five hundred only) for each course in favour of Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University payable at Dehradun and send it to the

Instructions to Fill Application Form for Entrance Test?

Here are the instructions to fill out the application form:
Step 1: Register with your complete details

Step 2: Login with your correct email and password
** Access the login page of the application portal.
** Enter the email address you used during registration and your password.
** Click on the login button to access your account.

Step 3: Complete your personal details
** Navigate to the personal details section of the application form.
** Fill in any remaining personal information required.
** Double-check all the details for accuracy before proceeding.

Step 4: Upload your recent Photograph
** Locate the section for uploading your photograph.
** Choose a recent, clear photograph of yourself that meets the specified requirements (e.g., file size (less than 50KB), dimensions).
** Upload the image and ensure it is successfully added to your application.

Step 5: Apply for the course with complete demand draft details
** Find the section for course selection or application.
** Choose the desired course(s) you wish to apply for from the available options.
** Enter the details of the demand draft, including the draft number, date, and issuing bank.
** Verify all the information provided is accurate before proceeding.

Step 6: Download the application form
** Look for the option to download or generate the application form.
** Click on the respective button to download the completed application form.
** Print the downloaded form.
** Sign the application form in the specified area

Step 7: Send the application form with the demand draft Registrar, FRI Deemed to be University payable at Dehradun
** Attach the demand draft along with the signed application form
** Send the application form and demand draft to the university address as provided in the instructions.
