Instructions To Be Followed In The Examination Hall :
1. The candidate(s) are required to submit the computer generated copy of online application form complete in all respect along with all required documents (Listed in the application form) in the office of the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests), Room No. 10, Ground Floor, Administrative Block, H.P. University, Summer Hill, Shimla – 171005 (H.P.) by due date prescribed in the Prospectus. The application form can be submitted in person or through Registered / Speed Post at the above noted address.

2. The candidate(s) must affixed recent good quality photograph of size of 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm without cap or goggles. However photo with spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.

3. The candidate(s) must ensure that all columns of the application form are filled up and all required Document /Certificates have been attached/ tagged with the Computer generated application form before sending/ submitting it to the University.

4. Incomplete admission form and form received after due date will not be entertained.

5. The candidate(s) are informed that in case it is found that he / she has furnished wrong, misleading and incorrect information for seeking admission, strict legal action will be taken against him/ her including cancellation of admission, if admitted on the basis of such information.

6. The candidate(s) are advised to download his/ her admit card/ roll number on the prescribed date i.e. 23.06.2015 from the H.P. University website

7. The candidate(s) will be provided all necessary clarification relating to Entrance Test by the University. In case of any doubt, the candidate can seek the clarification from the office of Deputy Registrar (Entrance Test) either personally or telephonically on Telephone No. 0177-2830891 and 0177-2833588.

8. The Examination Hall for Entrance Test will be opened 30 minutes before the commencement of the test. Candidates are expected to take their seats immediately after the opening of the Examination Hall. If the candidates do not report in time, they may miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the Examination Hall.

9. The candidate must show, the Admit Card downloaded from the University Website for admission in the Examination Hall. The candidates who do not possess the same shall not be allowed in the Examination Hall under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.

10. Calculators, Slide Rules, Geometry Box, Electronic Digital Watches with facilities of calculators, mobile phones, pagers or any other electronic gadget are not allowed inside the Examination Hall.

11. The Candidates will be given question booklet along with answer-sheet ten minutes before the commencement of the test.

12. The candidate will check and ensure that the Question Booklet contains number of pages as are written on the top of the first page and if any page is missing or misprint, the same be brought immediately to the notice of the Invigilator before writing anything on Question Booklet.

13. Immediately on receipt of the question booklet the candidates will fill in the required particulars on the cover page of the question Booklet with ball point pen only. They will deal with the booklet when asked by the Invigilator. Also the candidates will fill in the required particulars on the Answer Sheet.

14. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and an announcement to this effect will be made by the Invigilator.

15. During the examination time, the Invigilator will check Admit Card with the Attendance Sheet and Identification Card of each candidate to satisfy himself/herself about the identity of the candidate. Admit Card will be retained by the candidate thereafter. The invigilator will also put his/her signature in the place provided on the Answer sheet, Admit Card and Identification-cum-attendance sheet.

16. Use Blue/Black Ball Point Pen only to darken the appropriate circle. Darken only one circle for each entry as the Answer once marked is not liable to be changed. 17. A signal will be given at the beginning of the examination and at the half-time. A signal will also be given before the closing time when the candidate must stop marking the responses.

18. After completing the test each candidate should check again that all the particulars required in the Question Booklet and Answer Sheet have been correctly written and thereafter the Answer Sheet & Question Booklet will be handed over to the Invigilator by the candidate before leaving the examination hall.

19. The Candidate(s) found removing pages from the Question Booklet during the Entrance Test, Impersonation or trying to appear in the counselling through forged means or by producing fabricated/tampered documents will be dealt with as per law.

20. The Admit Card will be retained by the candidates after the Entrance Test is over. Candidates are adivsed to preserve their Admit Cards in good conditions till Counselling/ Admission in Medical College is over.

21. A candidate is admitted in the College on the basis of the merit of the Entrance Test, but at a subsequent time, if it is discovered that he/she had used unfair means practice during the entrance test, the student shall be removed from the College and all the fees and other dues paid shall be confiscated. Further action as warranted against the candidate as per law will also be taken.
