KMAT 2015 :
Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) is a standardised test being administered since 2003 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA, PGDM and MCA programmes. Any B-School across the state of Karnataka can consider KMAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. KMAT will continue to be your passport to over 169 B-Schools across the state of Karnataka.

Students are admitted on the basis of marks scored in the entrance test. The test consists of objective type questions and contains different papers for MBA/PGDM and MCA

Test : 26th July 2015
Last Date to Apply : July 15th 2015
Applications received after July 15th WILL NOT be processed.

MBA – Rs.600/-
MCA – Rs.600 /-
DD to be made in favor of “ KMAT – 2015”

Test timing :
10AM – 12 PM – MBA
2 PM – 4 PM – MCA

1) Test Related :
Q : If I miss the test on the scheduled date, will I be eligible for a refund?
A : No
Q : If I miss the test, can I take it up on another day without paying for the test?
A : Yes, you may take the second test on reapplying for the next test by paying the fees again.
Q : Am I allowed to carry a calculator or mobile into the test venue?
A : No
Q : When should I report at the test venue?
A : Report one hour before the test.
Q : What is the format and duration of the test?
A : See the table above.

2) KMAT Results and Score Card:
Q : When will the results be announced?
A : After 10 working days of the test.
Q : Will the results be available online?
A : Yes , on kmatindia.com
Q : When will I get the score card?
A : Score cards will be sent to the candidates by post.
Q : What if I don’t get the score card within the stipulated time period?
A : Contact the KMAT office with 15 days from the date of announcement of results.
Q : What if I lose the score card?
A : The candidates need to apply for a duplicate score card by paying a fine of Rs 250/-
Q : What if the score card is lost in transit?
A : A duplicate score card will be issued after the confirmation of the non receipt of the score card by the candidate.
Q : Am I guaranteed a seat in a college with the KMAT score?
A : NO. KMAT is only one of the requirements in the admission process into a course. Student’s will have to adhere to all the
Q : How long is the score card valid?
A : The score is valid for one year only.
Q : Can I change my test centre?
A : No
Q : When and how will I get the admit card (hall ticket)?
A : Download the admit card online from the KMAT website kmatindia.com/two days before the test.

3) Payment Related Queries:
Q : Can I make the payment online?
A : NO. Payment need to be made through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of KMAT – 2015 “ and payable at Bangalore and to sent through post/courier.

4) General:
Q : Is KMAT based on government or management quota?
A : KMAT is a Management Quota
Q : Is KMAT result based on ranking or percentile?
A : KMAT result is based on percentile.
Q : What happens if I do not receive the KMAT score card before the admission process in colleges?
A : The candidate can either show the photocopy of the application form or admit card to the college authorities to block the seat and produce the score card later.
Q : Do you have spot registration on the day of exam?
A : No

  2. Can I pay the application fee through bankers cheque? As it is payable in Bangalore, I received a bankers cheque instead of demand draft.
