Notification for Updation of Marks, Minority Status,Document Verification, and Confirmation of Application Form for Admission to First Year of Four Year Degree Course in Pharmacy

This notification is being issued for Document Verification and Application Form Confirmation at Application Receipt Centres (ARC) by candidates willing to be admitted in Autonomous Colleges, State Government/Aided Colleges, University Managed Institutes, University Departments, ICT Mumbai, Unaided colleges and/or such number of seats from Unaided colleges, which by mutual consent have decided to form part of this admission process of Pharmacy Courses for the Academic Year 2015-16.

Eligibility criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates and Outside Maharashtra State Candidates for admission to first year of degree course in Pharmacy:

Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed the HSC (Std.XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology /Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject AND Secured minimum 45 % marks (minimum 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject added together (Maximum of marks obtained in Mathematics/ Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject shall be considered for the purpose of addition)

AND
Obtained a Non Zero Score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology added together at MT-CET 2015.

Aspiring candidates fulfilling the eligibility criterion required to login through registered candidates link at dtemaharashtra.gov.in/ph2015, update the qualifying examination marks, Status of caste/tribe Validity certificate, Minority Statusand take the printout of online filled application form. Attach required documents and submit duly signed application form in person for confirmation at ARCs as per schedule. Candidates should produce original documents for verification and collect receipt cum acknowledgement duly signed by the ARC Officer. The merit list of eligible candidates for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) will be displayed on website.

16. Cut off Date for all type of admissions for the academic year 2015-16 14-08-2015

General Instructions:
1. Kindly refer Information Brochure, Annexure II for the documents required to be submitted at ARC in person.

2. The candidates are required to carry ALL Original Certificates and one set of attested true copies of these documents as listed in the printout of the online application form.

3. The eligibility of the candidates passing the HSC (Std. XII) or equivalent examination from a School/College/Examination Board situated outside India shall be further decided by the University Authorities to which the candidate is admitted. Hence such candidates are advised to get their eligibility verified by the respective University Authorities before seeking admission to the Pharmacy course in the State of Maharashtra.

4. Candidates who have filled in and confirmed the aforesaid Online Application form for Admission to Pharmacy course at ARCs and who have been assigned a Merit No. shall only be eligible to participate in the CAP.

5. If candidates fail to confirm online filled application form at ARC, then such applications will be rejected and name of such candidates will not appear in the merit list(s) prepared for the purpose of CAP and shall not be able to participate in the CAP.

6. Reserved category candidates not producing Caste Validity Certificate are required to submit Xerox copy of Proforma H on Rs.100/-Non Judicial Bond Paper (available on website for download) and original shall be retained by the Candidates which he shall submit to the Institute during admission.)

7. Candidates who could not submit Caste/Validity/Domicile/Non Creamy layer certificates during document verification and confirmation,such candidates can submit those documents for change in category/Type of candidature during the grievance period given above. During this period grievances only about Merit list or required documents shall be submitted.

8. It is not mandatory for the candidate to go to ARC for confirmation of Online Option Form, however candidate can avail the facility at ARC for filling and confirmation of option form if required. Candidates are required to pay Rs. 50/-in cash as facilitation fee for each of CAP Round I & II at ARC if the facilitation is availed by the candidate. All ARCs shall remain open on all days including holidays and Sundays for submission & confirmation of Application Form and Option Forms during the schedule.

9. Once the candidate confirms his/her Option/Preference form online through his/her Login ID for the respective admission rounds from a place convenient to him, Candidate will not be allowed to change/cancel the option/preference submitted under any circumstances.

10. The Option/preference form just submitted, but not confirmed by the candidate himself/herself will not be processed for allotment for respective CAP Rounds.

11. All Institutes shall remain open on all days including holidays and Sundays for Reporting of candidates during the schedule from 10.30 am to 5.30pm.

12. All ARCs shall remain open on all days including holidays and Sundays for submission & confirmation of application form/verification of documents/filling of Option form during the schedule from 10.30 am to 5.30pm.

13. The schedule displayed above is provisional and may change under unavoidable circumstances. The revised schedule, if any, will be notified on website.   1. What are the documents needed for the counseling of DTE for outside Maharashtra candidate? And the OBC outside Maharashtra would be considered OBC in Maharashtra for DTE counseling?

  2. I have scored 64 in mtcet but I have not submitted my application form in ARC due to some reason
    So what is the further process for enrolling myself for first year b pharmacy?
