INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION TO CANDIDATES :
** Candidates are called for counseling, as per their merit in the respective category.

** Candidates are advised to be present in the counseling venue at least 30 minutes before the start of their counseling session.

** Request for change of date and time of counseling will not be entertained.

** Candidates who do not attend the counseling o the specified date and time, have to forego their claim of admission. However, due to unforeseen circumstances and unavoidable reasons, if a candidate us unable to attend the counseling on the specified date and time, he / she can attend it on a subsequent date and time during the counseling period for the course with prior permission from convenor, CENTAC. But the candidate can opt only for the seat available at that time and cannot claim any seat as per his / her original rank, for the course.

** In any case, Counseling will not be done in the absence of the candidate.

** Certificates / Documents (as applicable) to be produced in Original for verification:
1. JEE Main Score Card ( if applicable) # 8. Medical Fitness Certificate
2. Proof for Date of Birth 9. Nationality Certificate
3. HSC/equivalent – Statement of Marks 10. Proof for Puducherry Domicile Claim
4. SSLC/equivalent – Statement of Marks 11. Community Certificate
5. Permanent Integrated Certificate 12. Certificate/(s) for FF/PH/EX/SP claim
6. Transfer Certificate } from the Head of the
7. Conduct Certificate } institution last studied
13. Certificate for Regional Claim (PY/KA/MA/YA)
14. Demand Draft for counseling fee

** Candidates claiming admission under UT of Puducherry should produce certificates, for their community and claim, under special reservations, issued by competent authority of Government of Puducherry only. Otherwise, they have to forgo their claim.

** If a candidate has deposited all or the required original certificates with an Institution where he/she has already been admitted, a letter to that effect issued by the Head of the Institution should be produced. Only in that case, attested photocopies of the relevant certificates will be accepted for verification and counseling. However, all original certificates should be produced after securing admission under CENTAC, within the specified period.

** Candidates already pursuing their study in some institutions are advised not to apply for transfer Certificate until they receive provisional admission from CENTAC. Admission order will be issued only on production of Original Certificate & TC.

** Before submitting original certificates / documents to CENTAC, candidates are advised to take enough number of photocopies for their future use / reference.

** Updated information about the vacancies in different Colleges / Courses / Branches during the period of counseling may be obtained from the official website of CENTAC. (centacprof.net.in)

** Unfilled seats and vacancies arising out of the dropouts of already admitted candidates (before the last date of admission as specified by the respective Universities) would be filled up during subsequent counselings. These vacancies are open to all candidates who have already applied for admission through CENTAC (including the candidates already admitted during the first phase of counseling). Such vacancies will be notified only in the newspapers before the commencement of Counseling. No intimation, in this regard, will be sent to individual candidates. However, the position of vacancy can be obtained from the official website of CENTAC.

** During every subsequent / supplementary counseling, candidates will have to pay an additional non refundable counseling fee of 850/- ( 350/- for SC/BT) in case or in the form of Demand Draft draft drawn in favour of Convenor, CENTAC, payable at Puducherry.

** Allotment of seats to all courses is based on the merit, category of the candidates, and the availability of seats in the respective category at the time of counseling. All allotments made by CENTAC are only provisional and subject to the approval of the respective Universities.
