TN Health BSMS / BAMS / BNYS Admission

1) Applications are invited from candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Course for admission through single window system to BSMS / BAMS / BNYS / BUMS / BHMS courses 2015-16 session in Government and Self Financing Medical Colleges (Government quota) in Tamil Nadu.

2) Application Form and Prospectus can be had directly from the Principals of any of the below mentioned Government ISM Colleges on all working days from 10.00AM to .00 PM between 29.06.2015 and 24.07.2015, both days inclusive
a) The Principal, Govt. Siddha Medical College, Palayamkottai, Tirunelvelidistrict
b) The Principal, Govt.Siddha Medical College, Arumbakkam, Chennai106
c) The Principal, Govt. Unani Medical College, Arumbakkam, Chennai106
d) The Principal, Govt. Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College, Arumbakkam, Chennai106
e) The Principal, Govt. Homoeopathy Medical College,Thirumangalam, Madurai District .
f) The Principal, Govt.Ayurveda Medical College, Kottar, Nagercoil, Kanya Kumari District.

Note: Application forms and prospectus will not be issued at the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy and office of the Selection Committee, Arumbakkam, Chennai 106.

3) Candidates can also obtain application by post on submission of written requisition to the Principal of any of the above mentioned Government ISM colleges duly enclosing a Demand Draft for Rs.500- Rupees Five hundred only drawn in favour of DIRECTOR OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY CHENNA106 PAYABLE AT CHENNAI from any one of the nationalized banks obtained on or after 29/06-2015 and along with a self addressed cover measuring 33 cm x 14 cm in size duly affixing postal stamp to the value of Rs.70/- Rupees Seventy only) Requests received after the stipulated time on the last date, though they were posted or couriered on an earlier date, will not be entertained and DD will also not be returned.

Cost of Application

1. Common Application Form for BSMS / BAMS / BNYS / BUMS / BHMS Course : Rs.500/
2. Application form for SpecialCategory : Rs. 100/

5) Candidates belonging to the Tamil Nadu SCSCA)ST communities are exempted from paying the cost of application fee. Candidates who wish to obtain application under this category, shall have to produce / submit self-attested Xerox copy of his/her Community Certificate and 2 mark sheet along with the written requisition. Requests received after the stipulated time on the last date, though they were posted or couriered on an earlier date, will not be entertained.

6) Special Categories :
The special categories are:
Differently Abled
Children of Freedom Fighters
Children of Ex-Servicemen
Eminent Sportsperson
Government of India Nominee
Heirs of Registered Indian Medicine Practitioners .
Candidates who have studied Siddha as a Special Subject

7) Candidates eligible to apply under the above said Special Categories should submit the Special Category application along with common application form and duly enclosing a Demand Draft for Rs.100- (Rupees one hundred only drawn in favour of DIRECTOR OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY CHENNAI- 106 PAYABLE AT CHENNAI obtained from any one of the nationalized banks on or after 29062015. In case candidates who are eligible in more than one special category listed above shall have to submit the Special Category Application for each special category along with a demand draft for Rs. 100- as stated above. One can apply to the maximum of three special categories at a time.

8) If the applicant is the first graduate of the family then he / she should submit necessary filled in certificates as instructed in the prospectus and also no other siblings in the family should have availed this concession. The Last date for the issue of application 24-07-2015 up to 05.00 pm.

9) Filled in applications with all necessary enclosures should reach
THE SECRETARY SELECTION COMMITTEE, DIRECTORATE OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHY ARIGNAR ANNA GOVT HOSPITAL OF INDIAN MEDICINE CAMPUS, ARUMBAKKAM, 600106 on or before 31-07-2015 up to .00 pm.

10) Applications received after the stipulated time on the last date, though they were posted or couriered on an earlier date, will not be entertained and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard. The DD will also be not returned.

11) The application and prospectus can also be downloaded from the following website and it should be submitted duly enclosing a Demand Draft for Rs.500- Rupees Five hundred only) drawn in favour of DIRECTOR OF INDIAN MEDICINE AND HOMOEOPATHYCHENNAI106″ PAYABLE AT CHENNAI from any one of the nationalized banks obtained on or after 29-06-2015.
