Guidelines For Merit List :
Merit List of the eligible candidates (as per the provisions of the prospectus) shall be prepared in the descending order of the qualifying GCET-15 marks as follows.
8.1 MBBS, BDS, BHMS, AHS & NURSING :
a. The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET–2015 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates who have secured at least 50% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC, & 45% for PH in MBBS and BDS course) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology at GCET- 15 shall be considered for merit list for MBBS and BDS. There shall be no minimum marks for BHMS, AHS & Nursing.
b. In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, applicant with more marks in Biology shall be placed higher in the merit list.
c. In case the marks in Biology are also equal, applicant with more marks in Chemistry will be placed higher in the merit list.
d. If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.

8.2 BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING :
a. The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks of GCET–2015 in the subjects of Physics and Mathematics.
b. In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, applicant with more marks in GCET-2015 Mathematics shall be placed higher in the merit list.
c. In case the marks in Mathematics are also equal, applicant with more marks in GCET-2015 Chemistry will be placed higher in the merit list.
d. In case the marks in GCET-2015 in Chemistry are also equal, applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list. In case of tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Mathematics at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list
e. If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.

8.3 BACHELOR OF PHARMACY :
a. The merit list shall be based on aggregate marks scored at GCET-2015 in the subjects of Physics and Chemistry.
b. In case the above marks of two or more applicants are equal, applicant with more marks in GCET-2015 Chemistry shall be placed higher in the merit list.
c. In case the marks in GCET-2015 in Chemistry are also equal, applicant with more aggregate marks in Physics and Chemistry at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list. In case of tie at this stage, applicant scoring more marks in Chemistry at the qualifying examination (Std.XIIth) will be placed higher in the merit list.
d. If all the above are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the order of merit.

8.4 BACHELOR OF ARCHITECTURE :
a. The merit list shall be based on aggregate of marks obtained in NATA and the aggregate marks obtained at the qualifying examination (HSSC/Diploma) added in the ratio of 1:1 i.e with 50% weightage each for NATA score and aggregate marks in qualifying examination.
b. In case the above combined marks are equal, applicant with higher NATA marks will be placed higher in order of merit.
c. If the NATA marks are also equal, then applicant with higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher in the merit list.
d. If the above marks are also equal, then the applicant with earlier date of birth will be placed higher in the merit list.

  1. I am from Jammu Kashmir bur I did not have any state subject and I am not appearing for JKCET also. So can I get seat in AIPMT category?
