Counselling Notice for PUMET-2015 (Version 1.0 dated 10.08.2015.)
(for admission to various PG courses of Presidency University)
1. Venue:-Yuva Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium) Entry through Main Gate

2. Date:- 14/08/2015

3. Time:- (reporting registration closes two hours after the opening time in both slots)

A. All first listed candidates — 9 AM to 12 noon.
They will have to pay admission fees prior to the Counselling on 12-13 August (see below)

B. Lunch break — 12 noon to 1 PM

C. All wait-listed candidates — 1 PM to 5 PM

4. List of candidates (from provisional merit list) called for reporting:-
As per Table provided in the relevant website link

5. Candidate has tobring the following documents (original and two photocopies):-
(i) Downloaded Admit Card of PUMET-2015
(ii) Madhyamik or equivalent exam admit card for DOB proof
(iii) Graduation mark sheet for eligibility proof
(iv) Caste certificate and/or PWD certificate, if applicable
(v) Bank Challan copy of paid Admission Fees (applicable to candidates of the first list)

Note: Attested Photocopy admissible under exceptional circumstances based on legitimate proof.

6. Procedure:-
A. Reporting and Corrections :
Candidates have to first register in person for reporting with their original documents. Credentials would be verified next, based on the documents. The information would be rectified if needed. Upon completion of reporting, candidates have to collect the acknowledgement slip.

B. Fee payment :
First listed candidates have to show proof of having paid the admission fees, which will remain enabled from 12th August, 2015, No fees would be collected on that day from wait listed candidates. Candidates upgraded to first list from this waiting list would have to pay the admission fees on 17thand 18thAugust, 2015.

C. Preparation of admission list :
The order of reporting (of the wait listed candidates) is irrelevant for inclusion in the finallist.However, candidates failing to report on that date would not be considered for admission.Based on admission of first listed candidates and vacancy thereof, along with reporting and verification of wait-listed candidates, the department-wise merit list for admission and waiting list will be prepared and displayed in the website. Reporting in the counselling session does not guarantee admission, even for first listed candidates, in case their credentials cannot be verified.

D. Final admission formalities :
The candidates recommended from the waiting list for admission have to report to the HoDs of their individual department, after submission of fees on 17th and 18th August 2015. Further vacancies if any will be declared on the University website on 25th August 2015 at 3.00 pm.
