UPPGMET Syllabus :

The syllabus will be the same as prescribed for the MBBS courses as per Regulation on Post Graduate Medical Education, 2000 framed under IMC Act 1956.

No books are prescribed.
The questions will generally be of MBBS level.
The number of questions from different subjects in the paper shall ordinarily (but not necessarily) be as follows :

Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualification:
** The candidate must have completed M.B.B.S. course from an institute duly recognized by Medical Council of India.
** The Internship of the candidate must be completed before April 01, 2016.
** The candidate must have his/her registration with State Medical Council / Medical Council of India.
** For NRI / Foreign candidates, the above mentioned criteria must be approved by the Medical Council of India. Subject to Regulations on Post Graduate Medical Education, 2000.

Conduct of Examination :
Centre for Examination :
The suitable no. of examination centres for UPPGMET-2016 will only be in the following city:
(i) New Delhi / Delhi (ii) Noida/ Greater Noida (iii) Chandigarh (iv) Lucknow (v) Varanasi
** The examination schedule will remain unaltered even if the above date is declared as a public holiday.
** Use of calculator, log table, digital diary, cell phone or any mode of communication is strictly prohibited during the examination.
** Candidates will have to be biometrically verified at the entrance of examination premises.
** Therefore, all the candidates must report to the allotted examination centre at 12:00 Noon sharp.
** Once entered, the candidates will not be allowed to go outside the examination premises till the completion of the examination.
** All the candidates must take their seats assigned for them 15 minutes before the commencement of examination.
** Parents/Guardians/accompanying person will not be allowed to enter in the examination premises.
