KARUNYA ENTRANCE EXAMINATION :

a. KEE – 2016 is applicable to B.Tech. / M.Sc. Integrated Course candidates only. KEE – 2016 will be conducted in 58 centres across India on 23rd April 2016 (02.30 PM to 05.00 PM).

The question paper will be in English only.

b. KEE – 2016 is an objective type examination, in which questions will be covered from the +2 / HSC level subjects namely Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry & General Aptitude and Christian Values / General Ethics. Appearance in KEE – 2016 is mandatory for admission to B.Tech. / M.Sc. Nanoscience and Technology courses in Karunya University.

c. Questions are of objective type. Each question will have 4 alternate answers. The correct answer has to be chosen and the appropriate oval should be shaded in the OMR answer sheet.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE :
(For Indian Nationals)
B.Tech. programs
Admission will be made based on the ranking of Karunya Entrance Examination – 2016 (KEE – 2016) and through Single Window Counseling 2016 conducted by Karunya University.

M.Sc. Integrated programs
M.Sc. Nanoscience and Technology: Admission will be made based on the ranking of Karunya Entrance Examination – 2016 (KEE – 2016) and through Single Window Counseling 2016 conducted by Karunya University.

M.Sc. Visual Communication: Admission will be made based on the marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination (applicable to non-science students). Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 or Equivalent can be considered based on the ranking of Karunya Entrance Examination – 2016 (KEE – 2016) and through Single Window Counseling 2016 also.

2. Last date for receipt of filled-in OMR application form (For B.Tech. /M.Sc. Integrated Course candidates) 11th April 2016
3. Publication of KEE – 2016 rank list 30th April 2016
4. Single window counseling at Karunya University campus (for B.Tech. /M.Sc. Integrated Course candidates) 11th,12th and 13th May 2016
5. KEE-2016 Examination Date : 23rd April 2016 (02.30 PM – 05. 00 PM)

ELIGIBILITY :
B.Tech. programs (Duration 4 years): A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
M.Sc. Integrated programs :
a. For M.Sc. Nanoscience and Technology (Duration 5 years): A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50 % marks aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
b. For M.Sc. Visual Communication (Duration 3 + 2 years): A pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50 % Marks in any stream such as, Commerce, Economics, Accountancy, Science, etc. [Exit option is available after 3 years of study with B.Sc. in Visual Communication as per norms]

MODE OF APPLICATIONS :
Buy and Apply Online:
a. The candidate can buy application online using any one of the Debit / Credit cards (Service charges applicable).
b. Upon successful payment of the application cost, the candidate will receive an Application number and Pass code via e-mail / SMS.
c. The candidate can now apply online with the Application number using our online application available at admissions.karunya.edu.

Apply online with Pin Mailer :
a. Along with the hard copy of application, a Pin Mailer is provided, which contains Application number and Pass code.
b. Using this application number and pass code, the candidate can apply online at admissions.karunya.edu.
c. If the Pin Mailer is used, then there is no need to send the filled-in OMR sheet or any other document to the University.

Apply online with DD :
a. The candidate should draw a DD (cost of application is mentioned above) in favour of ‘The Registrar, Karunya University’, payable at Coimbatore.
b. The candidate should go to our website admissions.karunya.edu, and apply online by providing the DD details in the application form.

c. Upon completing application form, the candidate should write his / her name, application number and the course applied for at the back of the DD, and send to the address mentioned below:

d. Only after the DD is received, the application form will be accepted for processing.
