Candidates can register for LSAT—India through ONLINE mode or by sending a Demand Draft. Registration windows are different for these modes.

About the Test :
** LSAT—India is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills designed by the USA–based Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for use by law schools in India.
** The LSAT—India will be administered in 16 cities on 15th May, 2016.
** LSAT—India is a paper-and-pencil test with four sections.
** Test duration – 2 hours and 20 minutes
** Question type – Multiple Choice format
** Registration Fee – Rs. 3800/-

Registration Window:
Candidates can register for LSAT—India through ONLINE mode or by sending a Demand Draft. Registration windows are different for these modes.
** Online Registration – 9th November, 2015 to 1st May, 2016.
** Registration through Demand Draft/PO/Banker’s cheque 9th November, 2015 to 28th Apr, 2016.

The demand draft/pay order/banker’s cheque (favouring Pearson India Education Services Pvt Ltd, payable at New Delhi/ Noida) should reach the below mentioned address on or before 28th April, 2016 either by post or courier.

Registration/Student Application Process :

** Register online for the LSAT-India entrance test by logging on to lsat.formistry.com (registrations opens on 9th November 2015).
** The LSAT-India registration fee is Rs 3800/- the fee can be paid online or by a demand draft/pay order/ banker’s cheque.
** The candidate can also contact Pearson VUE at lsatIndia@pearson.com for more information.
** On completion of the registration, all candidates will get an LSAT-India registration number.
** Candidates will need to mention this LSAT-India registration number while submitting the application forms to the associated colleges.
** After obtaining the LSAT-India registration number, the candidate must download/obtain the application form from the associated college.
** The college admission application forms will require candidates to mention their LSAT-India registration number.
** Candidates must ensure that they write their LSAT-India registration number at the given place in the Application Form of the associated colleges.
** All registrants who complete the test registration, pay the test fee in a timely way, and follow published test rules may sit for the LSAT-India.
** It is the candidates’ responsibility to understand the eligibility requirements of the associated law schools before deciding to register for the LSAT-India.
** If a candidate registers for the test and then determines that he/she is ineligible for admission to the intended law school, no test-fee refund will be available.
** Test Scores of students writing the LSAT-India will be transmitted to the Associated Colleges.

Registration :
1. Candidates need to register online for the LSAT—India at the website pearsonvueindia.com/lsatindia. Online Registrations will close at 11:59 PM IST (Indian Standard Time) on 01st May, 2016. Candidates who make payments through banker’s cheque/ demand draft or pay order, kindly note that registrations close on 28th April, 2016. Pearson VUE shall not accept registrations from candidates in any other mode or form.

2. Registration completion and payment acceptance confirmation will be sent by electronic mail only. Pearson VUE shall not be held responsible for non-receipt of confirmation e-mails due to incorrect e-mail addresses being entered by the applicant or due to any technical problems.
3. Registration forms received without the proper registration fee, or with insufficient or incorrect details, or received beyond the specified closing time and date will be summarily rejected and Pearson VUE shall not entertain any queries with respect to the same.

4. Candidates need to ensure that the information submitted by them is correct in all respects. In case any information is found to be incorrect at a later date, Pearson VUE shall have the right to cancel the test score, and inform the institution receiving such a test score from Pearson VUE. In the event of the cancellation of the score due to furnishing of incorrect information, the registration fee paid by the candidate will not be refunded.

5. Candidates are required to upload their photographs as per the specification provided on the registration website, failing which they can be disallowed from testing.
6. There is no provision for on-the-spot registration for the LSAT—India on the day of the test. Candidates have to follow the prescribed registration process published as part of the LSAT—India announcement on the website.
7. Only one registration can be made by a candidate. Duplicate registrations are liable to be rejected.
8. The online application form filling process allows candidates to save the form without submitting it. Candidates should note that once a form is submitted, the candidate cannot make any changes to the form except educational qualifications and associated college information.
9. A form is considered valid only if submission is made, and the registration fee is received by Pearson VUE by the due date. Registration forms for which the registration fee is not received in time will be rejected outright.

10. In case the candidate registers online using a credit card that does not belong to him/her, the candidate needs to furnish a signed statement from the credit card holder as per the format provided below. Failure to furnish the aforestated signed statement, if applicable, shall render the registration form invalid, and the same shall be void without prior notice. The candidate needs to print the following statement, get it filled and signed by the credit card holder, and carry the physical signed statement along with the credit card that was used for the transaction, for signature verification, to the test venue on the day of the exam. The candidate will not be allowed to sit for the test if this requirement is not fulfilled.

(Candidates who register online using a credit card will receive instructions to this effect as part of the confirmation e-mail that will be sent based on successful online registration. This e-mail will include the statement format as given below)-

“I, _________, owner of the credit card number ending with last 8 digits as _________ do hereby agree and give my irrevocable consent to Mr./Ms_________, to use my credit card towards payment of:
LSAT—India Registration Fee: Rs. 3800/-
to Pearson India Education Services Private Limited. I indemnify Pearson India Education Services Private Limited from any charge backs, repudiation of the charge on the aforestated credit card, or any other claim from me, i.e. the credit card holder. Given under my name, signature, at the place and date mentioned below.”
