UNIT-I: RESEARCH METHODS AND STATISTICS
Meaning, Need and Scope of Research in Physical Education, Types of Research:(Basic, applied and action research), Criteria for selecting the research problem. Library sources, Methods of reviewing literature Statistical Process: Measures of central tendency – mean – median – mode- definition, meaning and applications to Physical Education. Measures of variability – quartile deviation, standard deviation, and percentiles. Analysis: Correlation – Pearson’s product moment correlation. Application of Correlation techniques to variable in Physical Education. Graphical Representation: Bar and Pie diagrams, Histograms, Pictogram. T- Test.

UNIT – II : SPORTS PSYCHOLOGY
Definition, Meaning and scope of Sport Psychology, Development of Sport Psychology, Relationship of Sport/Psychology with other sports sciences. Importance of Sport Psychology for Physical Education teachers and coaches. Personality differences among various sports groups. Motivation. Types of motivation; Intrinsic, Extrinsic and achievement motivation. Motivation and performance relationship. Types of Anxiety: effect of anxiety on sports performance. Use of relaxation techniques. Yoga & Meditation. Aggression – types of aggression, theories of aggression, effect of aggression on sports performance. Psychological preparation and its importance. Pre, during and post competitive psychological situations. Socialization through play, games and sports. competition and co-operation in sports. Women and sports. General factors in organising Sports Programmes. Importance of financial management in sports programme-methods of fund raising in sport programme. UNIT-IV : TEST MEASUREMENT & EVALUATION IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION.

  • I want to know about the syllabus and previous year question papers for Chemical Sciences.

  • Svuteset entrance for EDUCATION given in both english and Telugu mediums? Or only in english medium?

    • The question papers for Computer Science, English, Space Technology and Hydrogeology tests will be only in English while language tests will be in the respective languages. For all other tests, the question papers will be in both English and Telugu.
