KLEU-AIET-2015 ( MBBS/BDS) (B.Pharm, Pharm.D, BPT,BAMS,B.Sc.Nursing)

Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQ ) :
When do the Courses begin?
MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, Pharm D, BPT, B.Sc Nursing, P C B.Sc Nursing and BAMS Courses are scheduled to begin from 01/08/2015.

What is the eligibility for the MBBS courses?
MBBS:
For MBBS: As prescribed by the Medical Council of India & KLEU.
Note:
a. For candidates seeking admission to MBBS course, the candidate should have scored minimum 60% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. i.e. XIIth /PUC II/ 10+2/ HSC / equivalent examination. The candidate should also have scored 50% marks in English language in the qualifying exam.
b. Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e., PUC II/10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for KLEU-AIET-2015, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examination.
c. The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination (XIIth / PUC-II/10+2/HSC / B.Sc.- Degree / first year of three year degree course as specified by Medical Council of India to be considered as eligibility for appearing in entrance test) earlier than 2013are not eligible for applying to KLEU-AIET-2015 for seeking admission to MBBS course.
d. Candidate should have passed qualifying examination from a board recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.
e. The candidates shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December 2015 (31/12/2015) of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.
Note: The candidates are advised to refer to KLEU-AIET 2015 brochure for understanding various illustrations.

What is the eligibility for the BDS courses?
BDS:
For BDS: As prescribed by the Dental Council of India & KLEU
Note:
a. For candidates seeking admission to BDS course, the candidate should have scored minimum 50% marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination. i.e. XIIth /PUC II/ 10+2/ HSC / equivalent examination. The candidate should also have passes in English language in the qualifying exam.
b. Candidates who are likely to appear or who have appeared for qualifying examination i.e., PUC II/10+2/HSC or equivalent but whose results have not been declared will also be considered eligible to appear for KLEU-AIET-2015, provided they have offered the above mentioned subjects at the said examination.

What is the eligibility for the B.Pharm, Pharm D, BPT,B.Sc Nursing, PC B.Sc Nursing and BAMS courses?
Eligibility criteria for courses other than MBBS and BDS is provided at Annexure ‘A’ of the KLE-AIET brochure.

Is there an age limit for the course?
Yes. He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS Courses.

Are the admissions open only to Karnataka students?
No. Admissions are open to all the students across the country.

What is the date of KLE-AIET 2015 entrance exam and time?
Saturday, the 9th May 2015, From 2.00 PM to 5.00PM

When can I apply for KLE-AIET-2015 Entrance exam?
The Online registration will remain active from 23.02.2015 to 30.04.2015 5:00PM only. In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. KLE University will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem in submission of online Application at last moment.

How do I make payment for applying KLE-AIET-2015 Entrance exam?
Payment can be done through any VISA Credit /Debit Card or Net Banking only. (Maestro card is not accepted)

Whether I need to fill separate application and separate application form and fees for various courses like MBBS, BDS B.Pharm,Pharm D,BPT,B.Sc Nursing, PC B.Sc Nursing and BAMS ?
No, you can fill only one application form only by choosing one course or all courses by making single payment, since it is common entrance exam for UG courses.

When is the last date to apply On-line?
Last date for On-line submission Wednesday, 30th April 2015

Whether I need to send Online submitted application form / acknowledgement to university? If yes what is the last date of submission?
Yes, printed Online submitted application from / acknowledgement must be sent to the university office by registred post / speed post / courier so as to reach University on or before Tuesday, 5th May 2015

Whether I need to attach any other documents along with the Online submitted application form / acknowledgement ?
No, you need not attach any documents’ along with the online submitted application form in case of GENERAL CATEGORY.
Only in case of BRD and KTC category you need to attach relevant documents. For relevant documents refer KLE-AIET 2015 Brochure. Failure to submit the relevant documents candidate will lose all claim over BRD/KTC category
