Registration for Entrance Test :

1. Before filling up the Application form, pl. pay the registration fee using online mode or prepare your demand draft as per details given below on serial no. 7.

2. Please fill in BLOCK LETTERS only.
3. Admission Processing Fees of Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 3000/- for NRI/ Foreign Students) can be paid online by using Debit Card/ Credit Card / Net Banking by logging on iicd.ac.in/academics/admission-2016-17.
4. Relevant particulars/ affidavit/ attachments should be submitted at the time of admission.
5. Refer to the Prospectus/ iicd.ac.in for details on selection procedure.
6. All information related to admission will be updated on iicd.ac.in & facebook.com/JaipurIICD
7. Incase payment is opted through Demand Draft in favour of ‘Indian Institute of Crafts & Design’ payable at Jaipur of Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 3000/- for NRI/ Foreign Students), the same should reach IICD Jaipur on or before 25th May 2016 by hand or by post along with printout of the form at the below given address:

8. For taking printout of the form, after filling up the registration form don’t press the Submit button, first take the print out and then press the button to submit your registration form.

Guidelines to Students and their Parents regarding Academic Expense :
** The institute offers 4 years Under Graduate Professional Diploma, 2 years Post Graduate Professional Diploma Programmes.
** In addition to the Semester fee, hostel fee and mess fee the student may have to incur approximately Rs. 30,000/- for each semester towards materials, field visits and other miscellaneous educational expenses.
** All such study related and basic raw material expenses are to be borne by the students.
** The amount (Academic Expenses), as mentioned below, is not required to be paid to IICD.
** Such academic expenditure will be managed by the students themselves.
** The details given below are only to provide information to parents/ students on Academic expenses, which may have to incur in a semester on materials, stationary, field visits etc.
** This amount mentioned here may vary depending upon particular semester’s academic needs

Weightage of the Tests /Interview as follows:
a. General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test
a. General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test 35%
b. Material, Color & Conceptual Test 45%
c. Personal Interview 20%

Test is designed to judge the abilities such as estimation of sizes and proportion, observation, synthesis and visual interpretation and general awareness.

b. Material, Color & Conceptual Test :
This test will assess the following abilities :
1. Intelligent use of materials, conceptualize and realize a 3 dimensional form, skill of handling material.
2. To observe, think and expand ideas, create solution based on a plan and strategy.
3. Ability to provide multiple solutions to the given problem with written description.

Material required for Material, Color & Conceptual Test:
You must bring pens, pencils (2B, 4B & 6B). Other required material will be provided by the institute in the examination kit.

c. Interview of Final Selected Candidates :
To evaluate the individual personality in the prospective candidates:
** Aptitude to crafts
** Intelligence quotient (IQ)
** Communication Ability
** General Awareness about Crafts & Design
** Overall Personal Achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.
