Current Academic Programmes:
In the Academic Year 2015-16, Four-year Integrated Undergraduate Programmes, namely, BA.BEd, BSc.BEd, Five-year Integrated undergraduate BA.LLB (Hons), BSc.LLB (Hons), and sixteen PG Programmes, namely, MSc in Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Life Science, Mathematics, Statistics, MA in Communication & Media Studies, Development Studies, Economics, English, Hindi, Political Science & International Relations, Psychology and Sociology, MTech in Computer Science, and B.Voc in Arts & Crafts (new) shall be offered. The University is also going to take admission in 7 programmes in Integrated MPhil-PhD Programme.

General Information for Admission/Entrance Test :
1. Students shall be admitted in programmes following the Admission Policy of the University. Kindly follow the Prospectus and visit website for regular updates. All eligible candidates must report for the admission test to the respective test centre(s) on their own.
2. Admission to the programmes in this University shall be subject to applicant fulfilling the eligibility conditions. It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that s/he fulfils the eligibility criteria for a particular programme as mentioned in CUSB Prospectus.
3. Applicant must have appeared in the final examination. Applicants awaiting results in the qualifying examination may also apply. However, their admission shall be subject to minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination and they may be allowed to seek admission only on production of their final year marksheet on or before the last date of admission.
4. Candidates should follow instructions from University website: www.cub.ac.in. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) are available on the CUSB website and also at last of this Prospectus.
5. Admission to the Central University of South Bihar is governed by the Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act.
6. High School level knowledge of Mathematics, Computer literacy and good communication skills in English language are desirable for all the Programmes.
7. Short-listed candidates based on Entrance Test scores, will be called for interview, etc.
8. Candidates expelled from any other Board/Institute/University or dismissed from Government service on disciplinary grounds and those who are known to have been involved in acts of crime and gross indiscipline or misconduct shall not be eligible for admission. The University may approach the police for verification in this regard. After the admission, if anybody found guilty in this regard shall have to quit the university.
9. Central University of South Bihar reserves the right to launch or drop any academic programme at any stage.
10. Medium of the Entrance Test is English, except for MA in Hindi.

How to apply through online / offline?
Visit Central University of South Bihar website cub.ac.in and follow the instructions to fill online / offline application form.
(a) Online applicant must take a printout of the online application form(s) and keep the same in safe custody. They need not send the hard copy to the University.
(b) Offline applicant need to send / submit the duly filled in application to Controller of Examinations, Central University of South Bihar, BIT Campus, PO – B. V. College, Patna – 800014 alongwith the University’s copy of Bank Challan / NEFT receipt (in original) so as to reach on or before the last date. University will not be responsible for postal delays.
