TAMIL NADU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TANCET) 2015
REGISTRATION FOR ENTRANCE TEST :
The candidates can register for the entrance test in any one of the modes given below.
a. Registration in Person
Candidates can appear in person at the Co-ordinating Centres shown under item 5 with the following
i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
iii) Entrance Test Fee in the form of cash (or) Demand Draft
iv) A copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) for availing fee concession (For SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu only)

Hall Tickets will be issued to the candidates who come in person to the following Co-ordinating Centres with a copy of 10th Std. mark sheet, 12th Std. mark sheet ( or 3 years Diploma Certificate) and cash or Demand Draft *(A single Demand Draft is sufficient for one or more programme) for the required amount towards entrance test fee.

Kunthavai Naachiyaar Govt. Arts College for Women, Thanjavur, 11. Govt. College of Engg., Tirunelveli, 12. Anna University Regional Centre, Tiruchirappalli, 13. Thanthai Periyar Govt. Institute of Tech., Vellore, 14.University College of Engg., Villupuram, 15. Kamaraj College of Engg & Tech., Virudhunagar.

b. Internet Registration
Candidates can register through internet by filling-up the application form, and upload a good quality recently taken photograph. Then download the application and send it to the address shown under item 10 with the following
i) Copy of X Std. or equivalent mark sheet
ii) Copy of XII Std. mark sheet or 3 years Diploma certificate
iii) Entrance Test Fee in the form of Demand Draft
iv) Self attested copy of the permanent community certificate (card format) issued by the competent authority of Government of Tamilnadu (for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu) for availing fee concession.

REGISTRATION THROUGH INTERNET: The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tancet2015. The filled-in downloaded application along with the required demand draft* and photocopies of certificates should be sent so as to reach The Secretary, TANCET, Centre for Entrance Examinations, Anna University, Chennai – 600 025 on or before 22.04.2015, by 5.30 p.m. The hall tickets should be downloaded from the above website. The applications received after the due date and time will not be considered at any cost.

*Drawn in favour of ` The Secretary, TANCET, Anna University, Chennai’ payable at Chennai, obtained from any Nationalised bank on or after 01.04.2015.

Before Registering through INTERNET, Read the Instructions given below:
Candidates who have completed their UG/PG Degree or in the Final Semester/Year are eligible to apply for TANCET 2015.

After taking print out sign in the appropriate places and enclose a valid Demand Draft for the required fee amount and send it to “The Secretary TANCET 2015, Centre for Entrance Examinations, Anna University, Chennai-600 025” so as to reach on or before 22-04-2015, 5.30 p.m.
Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Entrance Examinations, Anna University Chennai” payable at Chennai-600 025.
Tamilnadu SC/ST Candidates only,must enclose a photocopy of their Permanent Community Certificate with the application.
