AP LAWCET-2016 and AP PGLCET- 2016 are the Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Tests for admission into LL.B 3/5 Year Law Courses and LL.M Courses in the Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR APLAWCET-2016 :
1. The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended up to date.
2. The candidates other than Indian Nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
3. The candidates seeking admission:
4. For LLB 3 Year Course: The candidate should have passed Graduate Degree Examination of minimum three years duration(10+2+3 pattern)of a recognised University with at least 45% marks of aggregate marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST categories) in the qualifying examination. If any candidate secured less than 45% in graduation, he should have passed any additional graduation or Post Graduation with 45% marks.
5. For LL.B 5 year course: The candidate should have passed two year Intermediate Examination(10+2 pattern) with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST categories) in the qualifying examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent to Intermediate by the University,Board of Intermediate A.P. and Bar Council of India.
6. Admission into any college depends on its Recognition/Affiliation by the Statutory Bodies.
7. Qualifying marks in APLAWCET-2016 is 35% ( i.e 42 Marks out of 120 marks)and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into LL.B 3/5 Year course unless the candidate:
i. appears for Counseling at the notified Centers.
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned.
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA TO APPEAR FOR APPGLCET-2016 :
a) Candidates holding LL.B./B.L. 3/5 Year degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also eligible.
A candidate appearing for LLB/BL degree examinations may take the APPGLCET in anticipation of results. However he/she should pass at the time of counselling

Important Instructions to APLAWCET & APPGLCET-2016 Candidates :
1) Candidates who wish to apply for AP LAWCET/AP PGLCET-2016 are requested to fill the particulars carefully in ONLINE APPLICATION. The required information should be collected from the relevant documents.
2) Candidates are requested to check the filled in particulars before pressing SUBMIT button DURING online application. If candidate wish to change, he/she can change selecting the EDIT button. After verifying and satisfying, submit the ONLINE APPLICATION.
3) After submission of ONLINE APPLICATION, if any corrections are to be incorporated, candidate can login to the website with his details and modify the information. If candidate wants to change the information which is not allowed on the website, candidate has to submit their complaint selecting the “Submit Complaint” in Help Desk provided on the Home Page. Data will be changed only if documentary evidence is satisfactory. HENCE, CANDIDATES ARE REQUESTED TO FILL THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM CAREFULLY

Hall ticket Number of the Qualifying Degree
– Marks Memo./ Hall ticket number of Degree
Date of Birth
– Birth Certificate / SSC or Equivalent Certificate.
– Hall ticket No. of SSC or Equivalent examination Certificate – SSC or Equivalent Certificate.
Local Status (OU/AU/SVU/ Non-local)
– The local candidate certificate issued by MRO or competent authority.
Income of Parents (income is less than Rs. 2.0 lakhs or more than Rs. 2.0 lakhs)
– The Income certificate issued by competent authority.
Category (SC, ST, BC. Etc.)
– The Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority.
Special Category (NCC, PH, Sports, CAP etc.)
– The Certificate issued by competent authority

5) Other Information required for filling Online Application
Recent passport size digital color photograph (size < 30 KB) of candidate for uploading .
Digital Signature of the candidate (size15 KB) of candidate for uploading.
Examination Center to which candidate wishes to appear AP LAWCET/AP PGLCET-2016 exam.
Gender (Male / Female.)
Community (Non-Minority / Minority).
Mobile Number of the candidate.
E- Mail of the candidate.
6) It is advised to visit your allotted Examination Center well before so that you can take examination tension-free.
7) You will not be ALLOWED to take exam if you are late, we suggest you to reach the exam centre before the exam starts.

Last Date for Submission of Applications without Late fee 30-04-2016 (Saturday)
Last Date for Submission of Application with a Late fee of Rs.500/- 01.05.2016 to 07.05.2016
Last Date for Submission of Application with a Late fee of Rs.1000/- 08.05.2016 to 15.05.2016
Last Date for Submission of Application with a Late fee of Rs.1500/- 16.05.2016 to 21.05.2016
With late fee of Rs. 5000/- Candidates have to write the entrance Test in Anantapuramu only. 22.05.2016 to 27.05.2016
Date and Time of AP LAWCET 3 & 5 Years Examination 28-05-2016 (Saturday) 10.00 – 11.30 a.m.
