Information to Candidates:
** Avoid overwriting.
** Incomplete application forms shall be summarily rejected.

** Candidates are required to submit two recent passport size photographs(3.5cm / 3cm), Admit Card and Marksheet of HSLC/HSSLC (and also Scheduled Tribe, Indigenious Inhabitant of Nagaland and Backward Tribe Certificates as applicable) – duly attested, along with their Application.

** Applicants are required to deposit Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only, (non-refundable) in cash for each form
** Candidates are required to submit their forms to the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kohima.

** Candidates are required to exercise their options in the preference column provided for the purpose. Mark 1,2,3,4. etc. against the diploma programmes in order of preference

Procedure of Selection:
1. Selection of Candidates is done on the basis of the result of Entrance Examination and also incorporating reservation policies of the State.
* The Entrance Examination will consist of one paper of 100 questions and 100 marks, and question shall be of multiple choice type.

* Engineering stream: All Engineering streams shall have a common question paper and the question paper shall cover mathematics, Science, English and General Knowledge(G.K.), of standard-X, with mark distribution in the ratio of 35:35:15:15 ( Maths : Science : English : G.K.)

* Non-Engineering stream (i.e. MoP and FDAP): shall have a common question paper and the question paper shall cover English, G.K. and General Study, of standard-XII, in equal ratio.

* G.K. shall also cover current national and international events.

2. Eligibility for selection: only those candidates who have scored a minimum 35% in Diploma entrance examination shall be eligible for selection.

3. Selection of candidates to a Diploma program is done as per the candidates position in the merit list and availability of seat in the diploma program(s) of his/her stated preference(s).

4. Naga Indigenous inhabitants of the State shall be accorded first preference for selection. Thereafter, preference shall be accorded to children of non-Naga Indigenous inhabitant of the State, children of non-Naga State Govt. employees, Central Govt./Agency employees serving in the State as per merit in DEE.

Last date for submission of filled application form : 30th March, 2016.
Issue of Admit Cards : 14th -15th April, 2016 from Examination Centre.
Date of Examination : 16th April, 2016.
Time of Examination : 10:00 A.M – 12.00 Noon.
Examination Centre : Government Polytechnic, Kohima.
Date of result declaration : 10th May, 2016.
Last date for submission of acceptance/ refusal letter : 20th May, 2016.
Issue of Nomination letter : 8th June, 2016.
Period of admission in Polytechnics : Shall be strictly as specified in Nomination Letter.
