Entrance Examination :
IIMC, an Internationally-known centre for education, training and research in Mass Communication, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India, invites applications for the following courses.

Course : Diploma Course in Journalism (Urdu), New Delhi.
Duration : August 2016 to January 2017
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Good Knowledge of Urdu.
Date of Birth : 1.8.1986 or later.
No. of Seats : 25.
Reservation of Seats : As per Govt. of India Orders for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.
Hostel : No Hostel facility is available. If, however, any outstation female student requests for hostel accommodation, the same shall be considered by the competent authority for allotment, subject to availability
Tuition Fees : Rs.16,500/-.
Entrance Examination : At IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, JNU New Campus, New Delhi-110067 on 30th May 2016.
Interview : Last week of June 2016 at IIMC Delhi. Dates will be intimated on IIMC website with roll no. and name of candidates who clear the written Entrance Examination.
Application Forms :
1. Application forms can be purchased in person or by post. Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from IIMC, New Delhi on payment of Rs. 500/- through a demand draft only drawn on any scheduled bank payable to “Registrar IIMC” at New Delhi. Request for application forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft & a self-addressed, stamped (Rs. 70/-) envelope (27×17 cm).
2. For download Application process :
The application form can be download from iimc.gov.in. Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of Registrar, IIMC New Delhi must also be sent, along with the duly filled-in downloaded application form.
Sale of Application forms will be started from 31st March 2016.
Last date for sale of application forms is 6th May 2016.
Completed application forms with DD should reach Registrar, IIMC, Aruna Asaf Ali Marg, New Delhi- 110067 on or before 6th May 2016.
