Admit Cards/Hall Tickets :
It is for the general information of all the CLAT-15 applicants that due to the reason of last date for submission of CLAT-15 application form being extended till 15.04.2015, timeline fixed earlier as 15.04.2015 for making admit cards live is also re-scheduled. Now the admit cards will be available for downloading from the afternoon of 19.04.2015.

TEST DAY IDENTITY REQUIREMENTS :
(A) REPORTING OF CANDIDATES TO THE CENTRE :
a. The candidates should arrive at the test center at the reporting time mentioned in the admit card on the day of scheduled appointment. This will allow time for security checks, identity verification and checking in for examination.
b. Candidates are required to bring a printed copy of their Admit Card.

Approved list of photo IDs include:
** Passport
** PAN Card
** Voters’ ID card
** Driving License
** Aadhar Card
** College/School ID
** Employee ID

Kindly note that the above document has to be VALID i.e. has not expired; No Photocopies of the above IDs will be permitted.

c. Candidates without valid ID proof shall not be allowed to enter the examination premises.

(B) SECURITY AT THE TEST CENTRE :
1) Candidates will not be allowed to take mobile phones, watches, food items, study material, lockets, bags, electronic gadgets or any other prohibited items inside the examination premises. To avoid any hardship candidates are advised not to bring such items along with them

2) Finger prints of all the candidates will be captured on test day at test center and candidates are requested to cooperate with this essential activity to avoid any cases of impersonation. This is a security feature which will also ensure that only genuine candidate appear for the exam.

(C) INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES :
1) Please bring this Admit card in original with self-attested copy of Photo Identity proof as mentioned in the CLAT – 2015 website. Candidates without Admit card and Photo ID proof will not be permitted to appear for the examination.

2) The ID must be current (not expired) and include your signature. For security reasons, testing centers also utilize some form of biometric technology to identify and verify examinees on the day of exam only.
3) You have to appear for the Online Examination at your own expense on the date, time and Venue indicated.

4) You must bring stationery such as pencils, ballpoint pen etc. with you. Rough sheets will be provided at Test Center.
5) You are advised to report to the examination venue at the time mentioned on the Admit card. The candidates will not be admitted to the examination hall if you report 20 minutes after the scheduled commencement of the examination.

6) Examination will be conducted Computer Based Testing (CBT Mode). Candidates must enter their User Name and Password which will be provided in the examination hall to enter the online exam site. Please ensure that you’re Name and other details which will subsequently appear on the screen are correct.

7) Use of books, notebooks, calculators, watch calculators, pagers, cell phones and ring with built in calculator/memory, digital diary etc. or any other electronics or recording devices are not permitted in this examination area. Any candidate found resorting to unfair means or malpractice or any misconduct during the examination, including giving/receiving help to/from any candidate during the test will be disqualified for examination. The candidate should be vigilant in the examination. Any Request for change of Test center/venue will not be entertained.

8) Candidates shall be required to abide by the CLAT – 2015 rules & regulations of examination.
9) Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of examination.

CLAT-2015 Computer Based (Online) Examination :
Q. 1 What is Computer Based Examination (Online mode)?
A. It is a Computer Based Exam which will be conducted using the Local Area Network (LAN) to make it safe, secure and un-interrupted.
Q. 2 What are the advantages in opting for Computer Based Examination?
A. Computer Based Examination’s Advantages
The candidate can review or re-answer any question at any point of time during the examination.
The candidate can change the option of the answer during the exam duration and it is one of the most important features of computer based examination
The candidate also has the option to mark any answer for review at later stage during the examination.
There will be a panel on computer screen showing all the question nos. in different colour scheme which will indicate which are the questions answered, left unanswered and marked for review
Q. 3 Is Computer Based Examination based on Internet?
A. No
Q. 4 What are the date for Computer Based Examination?
A. The date of examination is 10th May 2015.
Q. 5 What will be the time of computer based examination?
A. The exam will be in one shift of 02 Hours.
Q. 6 What computer knowledge is required to appear for Computer Based Examination ?
A. The candidate needs to know only how to use computer mouse.
Q. 7 Can a candidate get an examination center of his/her choice?
A. The Candidate can opt for city of his/her choice as per list of computer based exam cities at the time of filling application form only.
Q. 8 How secure is the computer based examination?
A. It is very secure with zero error possibility as human intervention is minimal.
Q. 9 How a candidate can practice for Computer Based Examination?
A. The Mock Test will be available on CLAT 2015 website. The Candidate can download the same and practice as many times as he/she wants. This will give look and feel of the format of Computer Based Exam in simulation environment.
Q. 10 What will happen in case there is some problem in computer during the examination?
A. There will be enough buffer computers available at the examination centers to take care of such problems and the time lost in change of system will be duly compensated as each and every second will be recorded by the server.
Q. 11 When will the result of Computer Based Examination be declared?
A. 20th May 2015.
Q. 12 Will there be a question booklet like in offline examination?
A. In Computer Based Examination the questions will appear on computer screen along-with the answer options.
Q. 13 Will a Candidate get the question paper of computer based examination as he/she gets in Pen and Paper based exam?
A. Yes, the question paper along-with the options marked will be mailed to each and every candidate after the exam schedule is over.
Q. 14 In case of problem in computer etc. will there be somebody to assist?
A. Yes, there will be qualified IT professionals for technical support.
Q. 15 How will a candidate answer a question in the Computer Based examination?
A. There will four options of each question. The candidate has to click one of the options using computer mouse which can be reviewed or re- answered any time during the duration of the examination.
Q. 16 How will a candidate come to know which are the questions left unanswered?
A. There will be a panel on computer screen showing all the question nos. in different color scheme which will indicate which are the questions answered, left unanswered and marked for review.
Q. 17 Can a candidate change his/her answer ?
A. Yes, during the exam duration and it is one of the most important feature of computer based examination.
Q. 18 Whether Question Booklet will contain instructions as well ?
A. Instruction page will also be displayed before the actual test begins. The time of reading of instructions will not be part of examination duration.
Q. 19 Will a candidate be getting some practice test? If yes, then how and when ?
A. Yes, the mock test will be available on CLAT 2015 website and can be downloaded for the practice.You can also practice free of cost through web-based mock test. This will give you actual idea of the format of Online Exam (Computer Based Test i.e. CBT mode).
Q. 20 Will a candidate get sheets/papers for rough work/calculations etc?
A. Yes.
Q. 21 Is there any call center support ?
A. Yes. There is a call center support for candidates appearing in computer based examination. The helpline number(s) will be available on the CLAT website.
Q. 22 What is the duration of the test?
A. The duration of test will be 120 minutes.
Q. 23 When will a candidate has to report at exam center ?
A. 30 minutes before the exam time.
Q. 24 How many sections are there in the test and How many questions are there in each of these sections?
A. There will be four sections in the test. The sections are :
English including Comprehension: 40 Questions
General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 50 Questions
Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability): 20 Questions
Legal Aptitude: 50 Questions
Logical Reasoning: 40 Questions
Each question shall carry 01 mark.
Q. 25 Can I move back and forth between the five section?
A. Yes.
Q. 26 Will there be negative marking in CLAT – 2015 exam?
A. Yes, There shall be a Negative Marking wherein 0.25 marks will be deducted for each of the wrong answer.
