ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS:
The University may, for administrative reasons, conduct the Entrance Test before publication of the results of qualifying Degree Examinations concerned. But qualifying in the Entrance Test alone does not confer a right of admission on a candidate.

In addition to being qualified at the Entrance Test, a candidate will be eligible for admission only if he/she passes the qualifying Degree Examination before the first phase of counseling and secures the prescribed minimum marks in the subject(s) courses concerned, as mentioned in Part-II of this Booklet.

The Candidates who took Instant/ Supplementary Examination will not be allowed unless they get qualified, on the day of counseling. The memorandum of marks and pass certificates of the qualifying examination are not called for along with the application form for Entrance Test and the eligibility of the candidate is not verified/decided at the time of allowing the candidates to appear for the Entrance Test.

Hence, even if candidates are qualified in the Entrance Test, they shall not have any right for admission unless they fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in the rules. Such cases will be summarily rejected at the time of admission.

Candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission to the course he/she has applied, before appearing at the Entrance Test.

FILLING UP OF THE ICR APPLICATION FORM FOR ENTRANCE TEST:
1. Application form should be filled in properly and legibly by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.
2. The candidate will be held personally responsible for any incorrect entry.
3. Incomplete applications will be rejected summarily.
4. The University reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage if particulars furnished by the candidate are found incorrect.

SUBMISSION OF THE ICR APPLICATION FORM:
1. Application Form for Entrance Test duly filled in should be submitted at the counter concerned (or as otherwise notified) on or before the last date of submission between 10.30 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on all working days or as otherwise notified.

2. Candidates sending the applications for Entrance Test by post, are advised to send them sufficiently in advance so that they reach on or before the last date as prescribed. The University will not be held responsible for any postal delay or loss during transit.

3. Application form for Entrance Test received after the last date and the time prescribed will be rejected.

ADMISSION BY COUNSELING :

1. The eligible candidates will be admitted to various courses by centralized counseling. Date and Venue of counseling along with cutoff marks called for schedule be intimated to the candidates by certificate of posting to the address furnished in the application and also in the University Website.

The candidates desire of seeking admissions have to attend the counseling in person along with Marks Card, Entrance Hall Ticket and all the original certificates and fees prescribed for the course.

Failure to submit T.C. and all required certificates along with fee draft / bank challan will automatically disentitle the candidature for admission to a course applied for. However the university does not accept any responsibility for postal delay or loss during transit of such communications.

2. Candidates who fail to attend counseling session for which he/she is called for will be considered in the subsequent phase if the seats are available in that particular category only.

3. In case of a tie between candidates with same marks at the Entrance Test, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of aggregate marks in the optional subjects under PART-II of the qualifying examination at degree level.

In case of tie even after this, the marks obtained by the candidates in entire qualifying examination Candidate has to remit the fee (inclusive of Part-I) shall be taken into consideration.

4. The candidate has to remit the course fee immediately after the admission is provisionally confirmed on the day of counseling, otherwise they are not eligible for participate in the sliding process for that particular course. However, if the candidate is being benefited in the sliding has to pay sliding fee of Rs.200/- immediately in cash.

5. Those candidates who get provisional admission into any course during the counseling should report at the concerned college within one week from the date of admission given.

Otherwise the admission will be cancelled automatically without any prior information. However such candidates once reported at the college concerned are not eligible for attending second phase / spot counseling.
